Would like to send my son to UK.

Should I seek help from overseas study agency or directly apply U myself?

Any ideas on the charges of agency?

My understanding is many of these agencies do not charge any fees and their consultation is free so there is no harm in making some initial enquiries to get a better idea of the application process, the range of choices for your son and also the student visa application procedures. I know many friends have seek the help of 學聯 for advice at www.hkosc.com.hk      good luck

I have used Amber, 香港教育資信網, and Dolphin before. They are all very good.

If you do not have much idea about schools in the UK, it would be very good for u to consult an agency.

May I ask what level are u intending to apply for ur son? From my own experience, it would be better to apply schools, college, diploma, uni foundation, through agents, coz they would provide u with more choices.

However, if your son is applying for 1st year in Uni, agent would not be able to help, you could only apply through a process called UCAS. UCAS for september normally starts this time of the year.
