Same here. I have to compare APS vs HYPS.  U need to compare YW vs APS?  Did u apply for DBSPD? I have a
younger son 1.8 yrs old.

We now have 4 offers on hand, and hard to make decision, on the other hand, waiting for YW 2nd In.Already failed at DBS

放心啦，往年SPCC 都 call waiting 到廿幾位，都係受其他名校影響，你話APS會唔會不受影響？

我兒被取錄可能跟其音樂背景有關，他正學習三樣樂器，其中兩樣已考級別，加上運氣降臨(現今有樂器級別證書的孩子也不少吧)
我已決定讓兒子入讀宣小，因學術+音樂其實很適合他，而更有趣的是，在我們報考的學校中，個人認為水準相約或更高的學校我兒都考不上，所以完全不用作任何取捨。

這個問題只能留待宣小家長解答。
我初初都好擔心，但漸認同宣小認為每個小朋友都有學習音樂的能力，興趣是可以培養的。否則，它選小朋友就會挑些有音樂底啦。
小女一樣樂器都冇列portfolio（因連piano都只學了短期，連那些音樂啟蒙班都冇上過。So pls don't worry.

我女兒已完成一級鋼琴考試 加上又學緊小提琴, 唔知係咪收佢既其中一個主要原因呢. ! 不過APSKT 係我 dream school, 亦知道宣小emphasize music development, 所以亞女鋼琴考試 加學小提琴一早係我安排之內.!

My son is now studying at K1 Alliance Kindergarten. Can you share your experience why your daughter got accepted?
I believe school will use other standards to measure internal students coz they have been with the schools for 3 years. Really appreciate your insight!!!

My daughter was small girl (Oct 06) when entered the school (K1), she did not speak very well.  But her class mistress, Ms TSANG was very kind and taught her patiently.  Her pronounciation was not clear (both Cantonese and English) and Ms TSANG taught her to pronounce the words slowly and encouraged her to speak.  She really enjoyed the school life and loved to go to school.  She showed great progress in K1 and got the 進步獎 in both K1 & K2.  She is eager to learn and like to read books and to write.  Last year, I was busy in preparing the examination of my elder daughter who was p.6 and leaving little time to take care of my little daughter.  This year, I tried to prepare for the interviews with her.  This is the third school she attended the interview.  The first one got rejected, the second was on the waiting list.  I guess she can accumulate some experience during the interviews.  And I have reminded her to be polite in attending the interview.  
For extra curricular acctivites, she just attended ballet, drawing class and joined some putonghua recitation activiies (no music backgound and I'm quite worry if she can pick up after P.1)  
To me, I really appreciate the teachers of Alliance kindegarten to cultivate her interest and spirit in learning.   
In the morning of the interview day, she got a fever and I took her to see the doctor and took the medicine.  Luckily, she could manage to attend the interview in the afternoon and finally got accepted. Thanks God!

無錯, 如果APS是你的最終選擇, 她們會做同學的. 我們沒有報DGJS, 因為我們想她未必是那類人呢, 用多六年去培養再作決定吧. 但她的確是有自信又不停說話的人.

APS的數只教快一學期, 算是不深的了, 和那些教快一年的無得比.
APS用一學期二至三次的測驗(計入考試分), 去幫助同學和家長一直在數學上保持水準.

有妹妹，兩間都冇中學；
間津校可自行接送但咁早返學帶住兩個有難度！活動教學見稱但中學派位比較神秘！
我同老公冇樂器特長但我哋全家都好喜歡音樂！講真我哋冇期待APS收佢因都唔知佢是否受谷？！個人最欣賞APS非常重視信仰！

Congratulations to those got the offer of APSKT!  Believe me, you wont's be regret to let your kids to study in APSKT.  

I want to share my experience : when my "Little One" was young and fighting for a seat in primary one, I only got the offer from KTS but no any letter from APSKT.  Actually, I missed the offer letter of APSKT and also the registration date.  Fortunately, the office staff of APSKT called me to clarify whether I would decline the offer.   So, I think that everything is being arranged (may be the God even I don't have any religious) and we just follow the track.   My "Little One" has just already graduated from APSKT, he didn't show any interest of music when he was in the kindergarten even now, but he already passed the Grade 8 of his learning musical instrument.

Hi,原來你也跟我一樣，要在兩間選其一..我女兒也是在外學了半年RWI，現學pink bk,我也很喜歡APS有這課程在內呢！

想問一下APS的家長，
音樂方面，請問鋼琴會計算在內嗎？
看到很多家長也說校長和老師都很nice和有責任心，
英和數的課程也很有保證，但很小人提及中文課程，
請問中文是全普教的嗎？
