很羨慕你們, 這所學校是我最喜歡的, but 囡囡名落孫山, 連waiting都無...... 如果再寫叩門信唔知接唔接受呢., 但佢封信話叫我等下年做插班生.....是否有家長試過呢? 可否分享一下...... tks!

myac, 我見你喺唔同既post裡面都問有關hy同aps既比較, 我就講少少我既經驗啦

我大女選校當年我既dream school就係hy, 我當時自行有20分, 再加埋租樓去抽, 點知2樣都唔成功, 好失望同唔開心, 好在當時aps收左我女女, 心諗住等我女女喺aps讀一年之後就試下轉去hy

女女讀左一年之後, 我確實覺得aps好好, 我女女性格好慢熱同無自信, 喺學校裡面係唔出聲果種, 讀完aps一年之後, 雖然我女女既成績唔係最top果批, 但我漸漸覺得佢自信左同開朗左, 學校既老師用左好多時間去鼓勵我女女, 令到佢慢慢有自信

到暑假前我問女女好唔好轉校, 佢死都唔肯, 因為佢話讀宣小好開心, 跟住我仔仔都入埋宣小, 咁我就完全放棄轉校既念頭啦

音樂方面, 宣小確係比左一個好好既培育比小朋友, 佢既氣氛係令到小朋友唔會諗過放棄, 即使唔係個個buy學音樂, 但我同意校長所講, 培養到小朋友對音樂有興趣, 等佢地上中學時都係同番學音樂既朋友一齊玩, 令到佢地唔會學壞.......我同意小朋友學壞好多時係睇下同咩朋友玩, 所以我都想我既小朋友好似校長所估計咁中學同番有學音樂既朋友一齊

到你見到你小朋友有一日上台表演既時候, 我會深信你會感受到宣小既好

當然, 我仍然好鍾意hy, 而家小朋友喺aps讀得好, 唯有望中學入hy啦

以上只係我有關aps既意見, 我依然覺得hy係一間好學校

I see.    So if I choose APS for my girl they will be classmates.  Your girl has DGJS look, leh!  Is she outspoken?

我想問一下各位宣小家長，waiting 的小朋友有offer的機會大嗎？我看到也有一些非常considerate的家長，有其他更合心意的offer時，都會立刻放位！令我們一眾waiting的仍有希望！我很心儀APS呢！

In term of art development, so far my girl is the drawing/craftwork-type but does not seem to be music-type.

I heard that Music is not an "option" in APS but a "must". The "option" I meant here is not wheather the child has to learn music or not, but whether the child has to do music good or not.  And the children who are not good at Music becomes very difficult in the school-life...

如果你選得宣小, 就要相信學校會有方法令孩子喜歡音樂..相信每個孩子都有學習音樂的能力..
叻唔叻, 同中英數一樣, 有長有短... 最重要係我覺得宣小係唔會放棄學生...
經過好多宣小家長的分享, 我相信宣小是造得到的.

My girl loves singing and learn some basic piano classes for 1 year but no other instruments yet....would she be able to handle APS rigorous musical training?

Thanks myac !! I'm still struggling and comparing the offers on hand, headache @.@My son is studying at KV.
Ha ha !! He doesn't know how to play violin at all.
