學Enopi Maths既請進~~

我仔7歲,學左年半,今年2年級學校教緊乘數(直資英文數),見佢學校d功課明明計岩但成日比老師話錯,我再留意一下,原來有分乘數及被乘數的,同佢講解左都一段時間,但佢都唔能夠完全掌握,我見佢Enopi果度都教緊乘數,就問下果度d導師有冇教呢樣野,點知佢話佢地冇被乘數呢樣野,叫我比d學校功課佢睇下,但我仲未比,想問下你地,你地學校教既Maths有冇分被乘數?如果間間學校都有既,冇理由果度唔知我講乜??

乘法的認識

3 x 6 = 18

3 is factor(被乘數)
6 is also factor(乘數)
18 is product(積或乘積)

在中文數來說，被乘數在前，乘數在後，英文沒分。

順帶補充，

加法：

3                 +             6         =         9
addent(被加數)　　addent(加數)    　sum(和)

減法：

9                  -             6         =          3
subtrahend(被減數)minuend(減數)    difference(差）

除法:

8                  /             4         =          2
divident(被除數)　　divisor(除數)       quotient(商)

my dau is studying enopi.. actually, there is wrong concept in enopi,... so have to teach your son . Don't mix up ....6x3= 6+6+6
3x6= 3+3+3+3+3+3..total diff concept

我的小朋友K3, 亦是讀Enopi, 就要開始學乘數, 如果Enopi 到時冇教香港小學的方式, 我亦想自己教下佢.   

但不好意思, 請問分 "被乘數" 同被 "乘數" 個實際 意義係咩呢? 因為,  只是一個前一個後, 位置不同, 除非是應用題,  以你下面說會apply 在不同的數量上,  否則如只是單一條數式, 答案係一樣的,  我自己小學時好似冇分..??  請指教, 謝謝.

我估..如有文字題就會清楚了
如每包糖有4粒，現有6包，共有多少
應該要列成4x6，而非6x4，雖然兩者答案一樣
被乘數的單位應該要與答案的單位一樣
我是這樣理解，不過唔知是否官方的答案

Wonderful parents here, clear concepts and ways to elaborate.
Let me try to give some input,

Multiplication is a way of telling repeated addition.
e.g when we put 4 groups of 6 candies together and find the total.  before we know "X", we do it by 6 + 6 + 6 + 6 = 24 candies. By using multiplication to solve it, we need to do it by 6 X 4 = 24 candies. Important and essential concepts / skills in local schools in HK. However, for some international schools, especially those employing US Maths curriculum, their way is as same as those in Enopi math books.  Highly recommend you to have a discussion with the tutor, and maybe he /she needs to have a better understanding on not only Math concepts but also the different curriculum across different countries and finds out why it's different in those Enopi Math books.
