By the way, KCIS school holiday will start Dec 16. Hence, there will not be any interview from Dec 16 til end of this year

Yes I have applied to the more local schools such as Victoria, St Cat and etc.  My son is a smart boy but he hates the one-on-one interview format that the local schools usually use.

i feel like, from my experience of attending two interviews of int'l schools, the "performance" of parents is far more important than that of the kid's. By "performance" i mean the ability to communicate in english, the common belief in int'l education system and the way of nurturing your kid at home, etc.

My boys are lucky to get in KCIS early. I cannot imagine the admission situation in the future as the school continues to gain better and better reputation and Mandarin become more and more important (yet KCIS is charging a very reasonable school fees). When you go to the school, you will know every single cents are spent on educating the students while the staff hierahcy is very slim. That's why KCIS school fee is comparable to ESF even though class size in KCIS is smaller.

I don't know whether I am in priority group or not.  I submitted the application for my son when he's 3 months old and waited until now (he's 25 months).  

I am not sure whether I will take the offer, I asked the school to give me some time to think about this.  If I put my son to KCIS, and when later when I wanted to put him into a different IS, will he has any difficulty?
