DPS vs SFA

DPS primary in Kln Tong vs SFA in SSP (both for boys & girls school)?? Thank you for any comment.

If your kid is a boy, DPS is good as DBS will reserve 10 seats for it but not sure how long will it last for.

For girl, SFA will have a better secondary school allocation.

but I have a elder son and younger sister!! My elder son just got offer of SFA. In the next round of gov allocation, I want to try DPS due to the yeunger sister to be follow. Any other suggestion for band 1 primary schools that better for both boy & girl in kowloon side? Thanks a lot

My son is studying at DPS P.1 now.  While compare with SFA, I chose DPS for my son several months ago.  Actaully both schools are good English primary schools, but:

1. DPS stil can enjoy the special relationship with DBS.  

2.  the class size: DPS - around 30 kids
                            SFA - around 40 kids

3.  Location:  Kowloon Tong vs Sham Shui Po

If I were you, I will choose DPS for your son:
1. your kids can study at the same school; (your younger daughter can get a  place for sure)
2.  you can still try other DSS or private school for your daughter
3.  It is not guarantee to get a place in SFA

If you have a little girl, may be 油天 is a good choice.

Since you already got SFA as a backup, you can be more aggressive to choose a good subsidized school.

I just consider the DPS's standard, teachers & allocation of P.1 now since they changed to gov school this few years!! Any other suggestion in kln side (except 馬頭涌官立小學 &油麻地天主教小學) are v good for boys & girls? Many thanks

Secondary allocation for boy is very good (almost 50% go to DBS / LS) but girl is just so so.
