I prefer KCIS as the level of Chinese language is better and the class size is smaller. Also, I found KCIS students have better discipline. Actually, my daughter is now studying in KCIS. Nothing bad has happened.
One more thing, the overall administrative cost of KCIS is lower than ESF. KCIS hasn’t got a luxury office and redundant staff but ESF has. It means the tuition fee you paid to KCIS is worthier. Your kid would gain more resources and better quality of schooling.
Besides, ESF aims to accept non-Cantonese speaking children. If you are a local family and the first language of your kid is Cantonese, your chance of enrollment is really low. To a certain extent, ESF is discriminating Cantonese speaking children in the beginning. I prefer not joining ESF if I have alternative. |
