其實教小朋友唔駛俾自己同佢任何壓力，我都係隨口講，見到日常生活有嘅字又無聊.. 就講吓，講講吓佢地就識
數字仲簡單，佢一路行樓梯/打韆鞦，我一邊數，呢d係小朋友做嘅活動，佢地好鍾意！
當然，講故事都係好嘢，不過我大仔兩歲幾返N班先肯坐定定聽故事！

btw, 學校K1一定會從頭教，無問題，只係.. 如果你想入d出名d嘅學校，可能會比下去，所以，選校時記緊揀同自己教學理念相約嘅學校就無問題喇！

We taught our son A-Z and counting numbers when he was around 1.5 years old.  He knew all of these before 2 years old.  But we were not pushing, just treating this as a game.  Now, he likes ABC song very much ^^

小女未入pn已經識26個英文字. 包括letter names and letter sound.
數數目就只係唸口黃, 可以數到20幾.
真正確實數實物數啱, 只可以係"5"以內嘅物件, 先至唔會數錯.

不過我並唔係覺得哩個係必須. 其實學校都會教.
咁我點解教? 係因為我發覺佢知道多啲字之後, 睇書好開心. 因為佢見到自己識嘅野. 好似見到朋友咁.
雖然佢拚字仲係唔得, 不過有少少概念.

佢識, 唔代表你迫佢學野, 基本上小朋友係好中意學野.
佢知道多啲, 就對嗰啲野有興趣啲.

不過, 好重要嘅係, 我只會每次見到就講, 而唔係考佢, 問佢.
行街見到麥當當我就話:"嘩咁大個m字喺嗰度喎!!"
我唔會考佢, 唔會問佢記唔記得. 只係話佢知, 佢見到嘅係啲咩. 咁佢自自然然就會識.

無錯..我仔仔都係上pn前已識A-Z..
我覺得係佢地既年紀學任何野都係新野．．佢地學識會好開心．．
而家仔仔2.5yrs....開始同教佢串字．．
佢指住逐個字串出黎....中哂佢都好開心

我個女1.5歲前已經認到大小階abc,1-10，英文生字有超過200 個，咁又咪係考幼稚園時唔出聲，唔會叻啲。

我係專登教，不過係用來打發時間，早教冇壓力，佢識我好開心，唔識咪/唔記得都冇所謂，當遊戲咁同佢玩card, 佢不知幾開心，比佢睇兒歌DVD, 佢而家27個月開始睇歌詞一齊唱，仲有時話要睇書/讀書，呢方面我好欣慰佢可以自發地睇書。

我地好少去好遠嘅地方玩，佢都唔識，只知道唔一樣，一般去公園或波波池，平均返，有動有靜。

其實有無必要咁急學呢. 小朋友一早學識哂, 返到學校會唔會覺得悶或者淺?
我睇龍應台甚至芬蘭教育既書, 人地係6歲先學拚音, 但小朋友因為已累積多年的詞彙, 一學就等如打開文字的大門, 不單非常興奮, 而且學得快學得好.
但香港真是一個極度畸形的社會. 家長壓力真係好大. 唔教自己的小朋友, 就好似對佢唔住咁....
我不敢批評, 只是有感而發. 自己都有機會成為瘋狂家長. 家長和小朋友都太大壓力了.

早兩年姑拉都唔覺要早教，上年考港同要考小朋友減數，所以唔識，揀英文字咭，識嗰啲比人揀嗮，連阿哥讀緊都係waiting list, 等到6月底再搵校長先有著落，今年上小一就開始學phonics啦，仲話應該早啲學。
其實早教冇問題，佢唔識又冇問題，唔洗迫佢，一日流流長，可以同小朋友玩乜呢？最緊要係教得輕鬆、學得開心，每個小朋友嘅喜好唔同。

There is a common mistake that children shall learn A-Z . Actually they shall learn the sounds of each letter first before they could read ABCD.....

This may sound new to many parents but this is the way to learn English in native way. E.g. the child learns the sound of 'C' as in cat, and 'a' as in apple, and that 't' as in table, they will know how to blend the sound themselves in their mind, that is, when they see the word 'CAT', they would read 'c', 'a', 't', and be able to pronounce 'cat'.

If they learn the NAME OF THE LETTER, that are ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ, when they see the word 'CAT', that doesn't help them to understand this word 'cat' (an animal) at all. They will have to 'see the word CAT' many times in order to MEMORIZE this word is 'CAT' instead of being able to pronounce it and know it is 'cat' = the cute animal we are talking about.

I know it may not be easily understood because when we were young, our old schools taught us alphabets and learn that way.

Anyway, in short, we shall not teach our children A to Z (the alphabet names), instead we shall teach them the sounds of each letter (phonics) before starting to teach alphabets.
