My girl told me the following :

1.  Read out some English words written on a paper (e.g. "never", "once", "together")

2.  Read out some Chinese words written on a paper (e.g. today, school)

3.  The teacher said in Chinese "computer" and asked her the English translation

4.  The teacher said an English sentence (no written words to read) and asked her to repeat the sentence

5.  The teacher said a Chinese sentence and asked her to repeat the sentence

6.  Math : if a boy borrowed 5 books from the library, then returned 3 books, and then borrowed another 4 books, how many books did he get now?

7.  Read "up", "down" according to the direction of some arrows, then read the opposite direction of another set of arrows

8.  Tell her name in Putonghua

That's all she can remember.  Any other sharing?

今日面試時間只得半小時,計埋上上落落,出出入入排隊等時間,每個小朋友實際的面試時間唔係好長

我問返我仔仔,今次問的問題唔多, 考左:

1) 讀好多中文詞語
2) 讀好多英文詞語
3) 排序, e.g. 書本, 擦膠, 鉛筆, 書本, 擦膠, 鉛筆...然後是甚麼
4) 用普通話講出自己名字
5) 處境題: 如果有一個小朋友跌低左,你會點樣做?
6) 覆述老師讀出的中英文句子, e.g. 妹妹和同學在遊樂場裡玩耍。
7) 箭咀題: 有上上下下咁排列的箭咀, 然後要我仔仔跟住箭咀的方向讀出來

Did they read story books ?
The questions look academic. Even you have answered most questions, it may mean you have already pushed a step forward to the advanced learning.

Crazy! 一個五歲小孩識答呢啲題目並唔代表佢叻，只可以講佢家長夠怪獸！呢啲問題一個正常的小孩在小一時如留心上課一定會好快學識，如讀了兩年幼稚園便識答呢啲題目，可以想像佢失去幾多童真？！咁嘅考法絕對評估唔到小孩的潛質，只揀到讀死書的小朋友！

yes, it's really over 5 years old kids.  

my kid also tell me teacher ask the likely question.  "dad give you 50 dollar, then ask you to buy newspaper 7 dollar and 11 dollar apple.  how much you have now ?"    so many chinese words that my kid can't recognise.  

it's little bit superise that how can 5 years old kids can handle such question?

30 分鐘裏她坐了25分鐘, 全在看圖書
兩位老師只問了她5分鐘

請問大家小朋友張interview letter, 有無蓋印仔?我見有些小朋友有,有些無, 包括我的兒子,知否是不是有特別意思?

有，好似寫住星級表現。但相信沒有關係，好像first in時派小文具，我女兒都沒有。

星級表現?但我見同一組別的,有些有,有些無,我就覺得有點奇怪。
