Safety of school bus

Dear LMC parents,

A minor accident happened on my son's school bus yesterday, resulted in a cut on my son's face. They called me and told me that the driver had a sudden halt because of an approaching car. I asked the school bus auntie if he had fastened the seat belt and she told me that no one fasten the seat belts during the ride. She told me that it's only a minor injury but I told her that
1. If the school bus had seat belts, they should fasten
2. All the kids in the bus should fasten the seat belt disregard they are carrying their school bags or not.

I called the school and report to the vice-principal and she told me that she will remind the school bus company.

I think I have the responsibility to remind everyone to make sure your sons and daugthers have their seat belt fasten during the school bus ride.

I don't want to see anyone get hurt again because of unfastened seat belts.

但我地果款校巴, 好似係冇seat belt 的. 除非要求佢地要全新裝上, 不過, 我估...... 哎...... 呢間校車公司真係.... 哎.....

Dear Bchi,

I've spoken with the vice principal, she said the school bus has seat belt. Maybe we should bring the issue up with the PTA, I'm afraid some other kids will get hurt next time.

係喎, 係有seatbelts 喎, 咁我問阿仔, 你地全部三個小朋友坐兩個位架嘛, 咁點buckle up 呢 ?? 佢話, 坐出果個冇得用囉. 答得好爽, 完全唔覺危險

Dear Bchi,
I asked my son, he told me that he fasten his selt beat but I am not sure about the other kids. I think all the kids at his school bus fasten their seat belts now because I told the school bus auntie, this is a must for everyone, not just my son. Maybe you should ask the school bus auntie of your son's bus too, just to make sure.
