請問讀賢高主教小學的家長

睇番之前D POSTS,似乎學校都多默測考,想請問一下,如果同一般津校相比,情況如何呢?會否家長和小朋友都有好大壓力的呢?小朋友讀得開心嗎?謝謝各位

My boy is now in P4 and he loves his school life very much.  

It's true that there are quite a number of assessments throughout the year.  When you think it positively, the assessments make your child to do regular revision.  It's not bad at all.

There are only 3 examinations in Nov, Mar and Jun.  I do appreciate this arrangement because I can enjoy the Christmas and Easter holiday with my son.

唔該晒你呀,咁想請問,如果小朋友幼稚園不是太多功課,亦不是一個非常勤力的小朋友,會否吃不消呢?請指教。

我深信一般官津小學的
功課不會比高主教小。

幼稚園生活和小學是截然不同。

孩子到了另一階段便要接受新挑戰
和適應新學習環境。

放心，高主教為初小生安排了一段適應期，
小一第一個月上學是不教常規課本。
他們做得不錯的是每樣事都循序漸進。
小一是蜜月期啊!

當然，進入高年級便會較辛苦，但請注意，全港小四，五學生都是辛苦的。

我相信作為家長都希望孩子進步，你也不願意看到兒女永遠都是一個不太勤力的小朋友嗎？

Dear Ramondi parents,

Since there is no briefing session, and not much info from the website, could any one of you shed some light on my questions below:

1. My impression is that they emphasize on gifted children program, how about those who are not gifted or are not learning as fast as others?  Any improvement/remedial programs for them?

2. I heard that in P1, they teach Eng one semester faster, can everyone children cope with it? Or it relies on parents to help their children to catch up?

3. Any requirement on learning musical instrument and sports?

4. Besides academic, how do they help the children to grow as a whole e.g. confidence, emotional, conduct, etc?
