I understand why parents are so nervious while waiting for the 2nd interview cause I had the same experience two years ago.

My understanding is that parents' performance did not count too much but the performance of the kids count.

But one point to share and to remind parents is that parents should be conscious of what they are talking and must speak the truth cause the interviewers may counter check or verify what you said with your child.

Last time the headteacher asked me as a working mother, what's my input to my son. The fact is I am busy with my work and I cannot accompany him at home during the daytime.I told the headteacher my strategy is that I have trained up the independence of my son and also scheduled his afternoon time in a systematic way. He would firstly finish his homework of his kindergarden, then practice violin for 15 mintues, then spell 5 vocabularies to my maid and read books for 30 minutes. After he finished all these, the maid will reward him for the computer games for 20 minutes. That's the every day's rule.

After I left the interviewing room, the headteacher did ask my son what did he do in the afternoon usually. Luckily, what I have told to school is exactly the fact and the practice of my son so he spoke the same content.

I don't know whether he got credits from this but at least there is no contraction between us.

我姐姐的小孩有2ND IN 了. Now she feels anxiety as well. i will pray for her. Anyone can share more experience?

What's the difference of School fete in Nov & Open day in Jan, are they both open to public? Do we need to buy tickets before hand or can buy at the door?

對, School Fete & Open House 每年都有, 主要分別係
School Fete 係喺中學部攪 (當日小學部係唔開既), school field 有好多攤位遊戲, 又有紀念品賣, tickets 可以到時先買都得. 而 Open House 就係小學部 (但我唔知中學有冇開), 會開放班房 & library, 有學生和老師在班房介紹, 可以入去參觀同睇吓學生 d 作品, 班房亦有遊戲玩.
