Trinity or Cambridge ??

各位有經驗嘅mami, 我個女而家3歲, 想開始搵d 英文course 比佢返, 發現好多話會幫報考Trinity or Cambridge, 其實有咩分別, 邊個好d??

另外, 見到有 mami 話Cambridge自學都可以考得好好成績,  咁Trinity 有無得自學??  ( d course 真係一d都唔平 )

My personal view is that it depends on your objective and the English level of your kid.

Do you only want her to get some certificates from the exams?  Or do you want her to enjoy learning English in a natural way?

Is your daughter studying in a kindergarten with a lot of English exposure?  Does she like reading?

The above questions may help deciding what to choose for her.

Trinity can't study at home as they have their own syllabus. You need to go to some learning centers that offer Trinity course. Trinity is a good start for younger learner as they will help them build up their communication skills.
My daughter is now in Gr.2 and she improves a lot after taking this course.

Well, it depends on what Trinity exam your kid will take.  For drama (e.g. YPC) which requires a team of kids to perform the drama together, then of course you need to take the course.  But for others (e.g. presentation, communication skills, spoken English ...) it may not be necessary to take courses outside.  If the kids have good English foundation, you can teach them to practise at home.

the difference for me is quite apparently between
Cambridge for elder stage as need good in writting, the site suggest 5+

Trinity can start in younger stage in 3+

Trinity GESE內容其實只是日常口語, 根本不用上課程都可以自行報考, 考試範圍亦可以下載, 亦有考試示範可以在YOUTUBE看到, 我的小朋友今年K3, 已考了GRADE 2(Distinction), 可以準備考Grade 3了.
再者CAMBRIDGE考試也不必要上COURSE, 媽媽有時間+有心機可以買些試題, 在家做熟即可, 但先決條件是小朋友識看題目, 識寫字, 和肯串字.

考試只係一個比自己努力的 目標 (自己同個女)..
好似你做人都有一個目標咁啦..

向住個目標...成件事會成功好多..

目標: 識哂考試範圍的字..

但我唔介意個結果....呢個先係重點

我仔兩樣都有去考
就沒有刻意為左張CERT去考，主要系學英文CENTER 果度，會通知幾時可以去報，幾時去考甘樣

下,其實而加仲有個pte,都好多學校要學生讀ga wor,學既係grammar,所以都有d挑戰性
