My dtr had interview yesterday and we are group 4. I asked her if she met the headmistress and she said no. I asked if the interview room (the final interview with teacher) was divided into 4 and she also said no. She mentioned that there are 2 groups of kids (8 together) went into the same room. Then they met the teacher one by one. Teacher only asked her few questions:
1. What is your name?
2. How old are you?
3. Who accompany you today?

Before that, they also had a game:
1) 4 of them played the dice one by one and needed to put the fruit onto the tree where the corresponding number was shown. e.g if the dice show 5, you need to put the fruit on the tree where the 5 was shown.
2) There are cards showing chinese vocab placed on tables and she was asked by teacher to choose two cards and read them out.
3) She was asked to spot out the differences between 2 pix.
4)She was shown a picture and asked to describe what was happening in the picture

It seems during different days, the arrangment might be different. She also watched the DVD before leaving the room. The whole meeting was around 1 hr and 5 minutes. She said it was fun.

Do you know if their canteen is open to us? I am wondering if we can go to the canteen in case we arrive a bit too early. Thanks.

As some applicants haven't attended the first interview, I suggest parents not to disclose the details of the interview for fairness.

亞仔話有4個校長, 佢見咗其中一個,  我等咗佢1hr40mins.  亞仔玩得好開心, 不過,佢係去到邊都會當係玩, 間間都話好玩, 結果係..我收reject letter都收到麻木晒,  所以無再問亞仔面試考什麼.

We did arrive earlier than the scheduled time (8:50a.m.). The staff asked us to sit and wait inside Canteen as the interview room and the teachers were not yet ready.

No, that should not be an indication of whether you are accepted or not.  You still need to be selected for second interview.

Thanks. I heard that some of them were interviewed by the headmaster.  Is it the different between having relationship and no relationship? What is the indication for those interviewed by the headmaster in the 1st interview?

Called SPCC this morning and it said the last batch has been mailed already. The last interview date should be end of last week.

I called because I didn't receive letter yet but I will be out of town next week from Mon to Thursday. Tough luck! I try to ask if the interview time can be changed but school insisted to wait till I receive the letter before calling again to try but no promise. I need to cross my fingers!!!!

我同事今日收到面試信，Oct 18 Int.

1st int 應該未完架。

The last batch is sent by yesterday afternoon.  We can ask for checking in this Friday only.

I think the last interview day may be 18 Oct.
