女兒10年1月5日出世~
到2012年8月差5日先夠兩歲八個月~會否收讀k1?????
如果唔收,變左3歲7個月先讀k1.....

You can't.

You can't even the child was born on 1/1.

What is the problem? Many child are 超大B in K1. It is the trend now to become 超大B in order to get into a more favourable kinder.

In reality, I am aware there are some kindergartens which will accept these kids to K1. However, the issue is not on K1, but the child will need to take 4 years of kindergarten anyway. It's because they won't reach the required age limit, i.e. 5 yrs old and 8 months to apply gov't and gov't aided schools.

Of course, if you are planning for other school paths, then this is not a concern.

會有學校肯收你讀K1的,
但始終要過五歲八個月才可讀小一,
差一日都不可以的.

一生人溜溜長，將來起碼有十幾年書要讀，比小朋友玩多年重好啦，為何要早一年讀書，唔通真係想佢早啲出身養家咩！

Several months in small age make whole lot difference. My girl was born in 0612 and she is now in K3, I still remembered how dumb she was when she started in K1. As compared with others, younger one really had hard time to start at the first place. Please let your child to be big girl and enjoy.
