right, I mixed up of GS and life education, she will be group 2 of L.Ed.

Any classmate signed up for the speech festival, the text of both English & Chinese poems had been posted on APS school website and open for browsing.

My girl had signed up too, her name is Natalie.

Did I missed something during briefing session? I found the timetable did not have any third language session? Can anyone tell me, thanks!!

Thanks for your info. How do you know the 3rd language lesson schedule? I thought class teacher will teach their English and mandarin subject respectively. As I know P1G2 is Miss Halford who also teach Japanese, but my girl said not have Japanese lesson or other language lessons yet. And I thought G1 will be Mr. Dennehy & G3 ? Miss Kwok, as she sounds like Native and did not talk in Chinese as I talked to her before (actually she is teaching French too).

I am expecting too.
I found my girl had finished her homework faster than in Kindergarten. May be not much Chinese homework, she was too slow in writing the Chinese. But she tried her best to copy down those homework diary of Chinese from e-homework (since she could not copy who sentence at class).

She did not have Chi H/W too but they have to copy teacher's request (bring which books on next day) on the home work diary. There were many new Chi characters for her.

Some parent had ordered grey cardigans (including me) for winter at August.
By the way, Natalie also got no cardigan in her school bag. She told me that she saw a big box was delivered to classroom, I guess teacher will distribute at Monday.

Dear parents,

I found the e-circular or homework uploading time were vary. Sometimes you can find the e-homework list was posted before they 3 pm and then new one (Chi) was posted after 5pm as what Miss Lee (VP) said before. Then I found some circular was posted at near 0Am at that night while that was not important to sign immediately.

So it is quite nervous to keep checking their homework list online.
Just like today's the handwritten of chinese homework was confused and I could not check it online after  my girl came back from school. I waited until 5pm and checked that no need to do homework with a release

I think that depends on the teacher's availability, may be they were too busy to update the homework list.

Natalie always failed to copy exact content on her HW diary, she would ask me to log in intranet and let her copy again.

I was pleased that she have  chances in participating different activities in school at PM sesion so she can focus in finishing her HW at home. She felt happy and made many  friends.

Referring reading journal, I think just ask kids to finish at least one book every two weeks, cos time frame was about 12 weeks for 10 books and the back of reading journal cover was mentioned to hand in every 2 weeks but no exact time. I think teacher will write notice in HW diary to remind us to bring back as they want. It's better to finish fast that I am afraid another  Chinese reading journal will start soon. I remembered parent from senior class were complaining deadline of reading journal of both Chi and Eng was too close. And I think its hard for my kid to finish Chi one. She had 2 books with reports completed and better save time for Chi book reports.

That was a notice stapled on the HW diary some day (Monday), no circular online, just put $100 in the brown envelope for remarking RSP membership fee.

I don't want to confuse you all, as I wonder if we have Chi reading Journal in P1 as well. Or only starts at P3,P4 as I reading from other forum from P3 or P4 before. please correct if I guess wrong.

小一家長恐懼症

女兒最要好的朋友，今年都升上了小一。開學才不過幾天，小孩能否適應小學生活仍言之尚早，反而媽媽們呢，似乎都不約而同的患上神經衰弱。

早起已是一大挑戰，特別是一眾跨區上學的，早上六時多便得上校巴。從鬧鐘響起一刻開始計算，大人細路輪流梳洗更衣吃早餐，保守估計要一小時，即天還未亮便要鏟起小鬼，魂魄未齊便要執行這艱巨任務，難怪新手爸媽們都叫苦連天，大嚷「慘過返工！」

好不容易執齊眼耳口鼻書包通告餐盒出門，等校巴，又是另一項挑戰。開課三天，已聞兩件校巴谷氣事件。

一個小女生因為肚子痛，錯過了校巴，爸爸臨時拉扶變身校巴司機，送孩子穿過隧道上學去。媽媽這才驚覺，原來小學的校巴真是名副其實非常非常非常像一輛巴士的，停站、開門、關門、開車，連串動作不容半刻等待。永遠只有人等車，絕不容車等人。

又有一個小男生，放學時不知出了什麼岔子，被「誤送」到另一輛校巴。男生的媽媽在候車地點苦等不果，突然收到校巴姨姨的通知，才知兒子上錯了校巴，唯有飛車去接仔，細路好像不知驚，可憐大人反被嚇得一額汗。

另一個小女生更搞笑，話說其就讀的小學非常環保，女廁沒廁紙供應，孩子如廁，得自備紙巾。才六歲的孩子做事甩漏不足為其，但這小女生已是非常精靈之輩，帶了一張紙巾入廁格，卻發現廁板有尿。小女生拿著那薄薄的一張紙巾，正苦惱應如何分配是好……

做媽媽的聽到這裏，好不緊張，心裏早已盤算是否應把消毒液連大包紙巾塞進女兒書包，女兒卻不慌不忙說：好彩，剛好有另一個同學進來，我就問她多借一張紙巾囉！這，或許就是成長的印證。

今天大人們都倒瀉籮蟹，難題煩事好像日日新鮮，要適應的事彷似決堤般湧現，但若干年後，回想這一切，我們總會慶幸，我們沒錯過孩子成長這麼一個重要的里程碑。

請問中國語文工作好紙單元二(p.11)的聆聽部份怎樣完成?上"現代教育"的學生網頁也找不到工作紙的相關錄音. 上次中秋節的單元也是沒有完成.

Have you checked with general office? Last time Natalie lost her cardigan and someone kept it in office. When I asked the clerk, they could recall those names of the lost items.
