本人希望女兒能完成中六才到加拿大升大學, 請問除了考ILET, 還需要什麼資料, 才合資格?  另, 需唔需要讀1年英文班才可升大學呢?  請指教!

There are a lot of things you have to prepare:
1. English level - besides IELTS, there is the TOEFL ibt your girl can take. Depending on each different college/university, there is a mininum marks they accept
2. If the marks of English is not good, then look for a college with ESL course.
3. The most important thing is the academic results. Usually three years of pass examination is sufficient. If your girl has sat in any open examinations,the results can be supplied. Besides academic results, supply any supporting documents on extra-curriculum or volunteer services or any services achieved within/outside the school.
4. Teachers' recommendations.

If you meet their IELTS or TOEFL requirement, you don't have to study English before you start your academic program.  Usually you will need to submit her latest two to three year school report and her DSE result and each Uni have their own academic requirement, better refer to their official website. However, please make sure you apply before the deadline as most of the deadline is around Dec to March for the Sept intake.
