有冇人知 Enopi maths 每個 Level 相等於邊個年級既程度呢?

My son will enter K2 (4.7 yrs), level 8 and 9 combined to teach from the teacher, starting to learn addition and minus in one equation. Teacher said it's equal to primary 1.

In fact, children of K3 and P1 learn (few kinder even learns simple addition in K2) additions, just that P1 students have comprehension.

My friend's son is studying Kumon and he started to learn Maths in last year Oct. 2010 (that means he already studied 10 months), same age as my son, he can also calculate addition and minus for the number within 10. My son starts in last Dec. (learned 8 months+).
However, both of our son's starting point were they have already know 1-100 and simple calculation +1, +2 etc at that time.

May I know how much homework your son's Enopi teacher gives each week?
P.S. My boy is 2-3 months younger; he's doing 2 basic and 1 critical each week; started Enopi last October; moving onto level 9 next month.

Normally 2 basic and 3 critical each week, or  1 basic and 3 critical each week; so 4 or 5 booklet every week.

What I meant is you will be surprised to see that P1 is still learning basic arithmetic as opposed to what usually parents would like to go further advance than the children are actually required to do so.  So normally I believe if a child start learning math early, they usually exceed the level that local Primary school's, which is not a surprise.  No matter what that math center is, they know parents want their child to go more advance than he practically needs to, that's how parents want to spend their money on them.

However, primary school's material require more in-depth critical use of those basic math, rather than just knowing how to do the calculation.  e.g. my friend's girl is way advance in Enopi than what a P1 girl should be, however she didn't get very high marks.  To get high marks, a child has to do all those math quick and perfect. So to me, I'm not so concerned about the level, 'cause children should be able to exceed without much problem.

我都想俾呀仔試ENOPI,個概念幾吸引我,但聽講西環呢間啲老師態度好差,有無人上過?

My son study in the Belcher's centre , it has many kids there and quite noisy but the teacher's attitude are OK but teacher always changed. However, they are lazy to write the handbook to let me know his progress....  I keep on to study there because my son like Maths very much.

我個仔每星期兩本basic﹐一本critical﹔個個老師做法不一樣﹐而且也會因應小朋友個別情況加多/減少功課。

基本上學完一個level就去下一個level﹐偶而assessments都只係作參考。
