Time for knocking the door (P.1 application)

What is the suitable time to knock the door for my favourite primary school?

Some people said it is more secure to contact the principal right now, but some said it is no use in this early stage.

My favourite school is La-Salle.  Can any La-Salle parents give me some suggestions?

I am not La Salle parent, but as I know, the headmasters / headmistresses of many famous primary schools have piles of Profiles and Letters from the parents !

I don't think they have time to go through them !

It's better to contact them after the release of 2nd round result !

I learn from other topics that you are choosing between LS and YW, and you are living near YW. What's your planning in the 2nd round allocation?

It'll be very difficult to get a place in LSPS in the 2nd round if you are not living in net 41, and extremely difficult, if not impossible, in the 3rd round.

I both get an address in net 41 and YW's net.  I am wondering which net would I use.
