請問知唔知TSL 收邊間幼稚園學生多?

As TSL accepted many different kindgarten students from different districts even far from Tung Chung, TKO, tai po......, the admission depends on the interview of the child (English communication ability) instead of the kindgarten name.
That's why it is a long time no one want to tell the answer.

My son's kindergarden had 61 students passing out in this year,  6 students to TSL, means 10% students were accepted, what do you think about the percentage? is it low or high? 7 students to Lam Man Chan. I hope I can help you.

I don't believe that the school will give allowance to some kindergarten these years. They assess students on their english ability and intellectual ability. That's what I observed from these years interviews.

so, for this school, I won't knock the door if the kid does not fit the school's requirement, otherwise you will have future painful learning experience....

My elderson was accepted and he adjust very well there, but the daughter was rejected. I understand why. It's not related to which kindergarten, which family background the kid is, it's all about the assessment criteria they hold for the kids: intellectual ability come first, then come the language ability..those kids with more rapid development will be recruited of course. Those kids slower in development (not necessarily lower intectually ability, but there are variations among children of course) will be screened out.

This is the game of the school, the game of our DSS philosophy, fit for the "fast" learners, but screen out others!!

This school is more and more on screening in fast learners than before after the new mangement team!!

One more comment:

don't feel sorry if your kid is not admitted as this is good for hhim/her to find a right place to learn. i heard from my son that quite a no. of classmates in the class got difficulties and not much learning support was given.

it does not meant your kid is not up to standard or having poor language ability, but they prefer those kids who are "presentable" and speak "good english", what is good, up to their definitions!!

don't believe in any myth!

Agree!!

谷得 少D, but know the main points, repeating is too boring for some kids, leaving more rooms to explore other interesting readings...
