I joined Kln Tong TT for half year and it's true that the teacher esp. the English teacher is always on sick leave!  It even happened once that they combine both classes since 1 English teacher and 1 PTH teacher were absent in 2 different classess.  So they said that was the most suitable arrangement that they could make on that day.  You can imagine how crowded the class would be with 20 kids + 20 parents in a classroom!  Besides, there is very "little" interaction between the teacher (esp. the English teacher) and the kids!  Recently, a new English teacher has come and he seems to be quite nice and proactive in communicating with the kids!  I hope his enthusiasm can continue but I have already quit the class since I find it not value for money.  But I think it all depends on teachers in different classes and campus.

May I ask which Kln Tong campus did you go to?

I also agree that it's not worth for money and they have just announced to increase the tuition fee effective Sept. The NET changed frequently (we got 5 different NET in less than half year) and it's one of the biggest problems.

My son studied playgroup in TT (suffolk campus) for 1 year. The teachers in his class were very good, both English and Mandarin teachers and the class assistance. They paid lots of care in children and stimulated them to learn. My son can count 1 to 10 both in English and Mandarin and dance many different songs now. He can speak out most of his body parts even the elbow, knees and fingers. He recognized his name even in Mandarin (He's 18 month-old). He likes to go to school and loves to see the teachers so much. He built up his confidence a lot. The summer concert hold in this month was also a very good event for them to perform in the stage. The playgroup in TT (suffolk) is really a good choice.

我最終都決定咗返埋8月就唔返多多啦, 因為呀B始終太細, 未識同其他BB share, 個個BB都係各有各自己玩, 所以作用不大.....

sze_louisa, you are one of the few lucky ones!
I don't know if the good teachers will still be there this year because a lot of teachers (NET and PTH) are leaving.
For this price, there should be plenty of choices. There is no need to go to TT.
My opinion only.

I agree that if bb is too young, he can learn nothing!  Maybe it's more suitable to start at 1.5 years old!

To be frank, inside my class, it's nearly 80% classmates have left.  Maybe few of them are going to nursery but there are also some who are not satisfied with the class!

Anyway, I find that opinion to this school is quite extreme!  Some find it very good while some very bad!  Maybe it's all depends on quality of your class teachers and expectation of the parent!

true that it all depends on which teacher. mine was mr matt when my child was having PG there. he is very nice! i heard mr ben is very nice too! but not sure if they are leaving the campus!

It's true that Mr. Ben is very nice and my son likes him very much and learned a lot when Mr. Ben was there. However he only taught for a very short period. He started teaching in March and always took leaves since May/June. Then he disappeared in July. We got a new female teacher in July and now another male NET is offered. Note that before Mr.Ben arrived, we already had 2-3 female NET.  The poor thing is, the school never made any announcement about the arrangement of his departure.

Babyanimal, which branch are you in?
Mr. Ben joined Suffolk campus just last month to replace the previous teacher!  I think he's very nice!  And it's true that he just teaches a very short session!

Smile_w99, I'm in the Suffolk campus.  I think Mr. Ben joined in March this year as I still remember that he played guitar on the "stage" in the Easter party.  He is very nice but unfortunately we could not see him anymore since July.

Mr. Ben was from Braemar Hill campus, he taught my boy before, i think he's really good.
