LH - 請教現在就讀家長

I have studied the good aspect of this school. But I would like to know any areas is less good, then the parents need to improve their kid by themselves. Please kindly advise. Thanks in advance.

1) if you think 'writing', esp Chinese, is very important, you can prepare some copy books for your child near K1 summer vacation cos LH starts writing in early K2.

2) LH arranges lots of activites involving parent, so if you couple need to apply leave in advance, pls plan ahead and only choose some important dates to join.

3) LH puts 文字題 in a very important role in Maths, that's good but some parent would let children learn some basic calculating skills in advance starting from K1.

如果只係講數學，我識一個小朋友佢依家係k2,佢家人話佢跟不到學校進度，但佢依家係公文數學到7的加數，所以學校應該都唔淺。

至於如要改善學之園小朋友普遍的弱項
我覺得家長可以同小朋友默中英文及背串生字。

或者你試下、上kv小朋友的blog，睇下佢地d功課，你就會知可以點準備。

For pt. 2) Parents will join most of the following activities annually:
Class observation + talk to school principal x 2,  
Parents day (talk to class teachers) x 2,
Sports day x 1,
X'mas performance x 1,
Parents story telling x 4,
As K2 students' parents,  the school will arrange primary school visits for us to join (around 10 schools)
