聖保羅書院小學是直資,其直屬中學聖保羅書院轉咗不派位直資,所以會收番大部份自己小學,當然有Band1和Band2小六學生la.中學聖保羅書院是香港過百年歷史傳统名校,但不知為何,近年會考成績跌得多,入U率偏低,要再觀察今年能否轉好.也聽說小學校舍會搬.

傳統名校，好注重全面發展和學業，平衡得唔錯。
男仔好醒目，好有自信。當然唔係話一定要貴族，但都要家庭有能力支持小朋友的發展，例如課外活動。加上競爭都很大,有20XX人申請先收9X個。所以小朋友的能力都要好高,好outstanding先有機會,重有其中有好多世襲生。

聽說中學好多都去外國讀書。

A pretty difficult question.  Both schools are very good indeed.

Meanwhile, they may have different strengths and characteristics.  My understanding is that SPC's teaching is comparatively traditional, whilst YW's is relatively innovative.  Different parents may evaluate the same attribute with different weightings.  It really depends on what is your own "marking scheme".

Of course, there are also factors that objectively differ, e.g. location (HK / Kln.), tuition fee (abt. $30,000 / abt. $15,000), linkage to secondary school (non-"through train" / "through train"), etc.

Very limited information.  Hope it helps somehow.

St Paul has poor result in HKCEE. They choose students with good result so as to increase good quality. However, they do not care what are the students' ability on other activities.  However, "stubborn" way of teaching make students' inactive. you can check the teachers' qualifications in the website. Some are not in good qualifications. Why I need to pay much school fee to buy the name only?

曾就讀聖保羅書院的他，視校友任志剛為偶像，「母校聖保羅書院其中一位校友係任志剛先生，正朝住佢呢個目標進發，希望跟佢嘅腳步，可以加入金融管理局」。香港社會越來越國際化，他希望修讀該兩個學科「累積多啲國際視野，先可以勝任金融管理局呢個職位」。

If you are not having your son studying in SPC, how can you be talking like first person, so authoritative? What does it mean by stubborn way of teaching.., do not care about their students' ability on other activities.. etc? My experience with the school is totally different from what you said. And I am sure most of the parents do not find the school as what you have described. AND I am talking from the experience of a first person.

mrsfungfung 對於SPC 的感觉基本上適用於大部分香港傳統名校的情況。試問有邊間出名的學校唔係揀成績好的學生，希望提高學校的水準。作為SPCPS的家長，我十分欣賞這所學校的作風，尤其是校長。兩年前在我參加迎新會時，校長對那些常保護兒子的家長們說，她要把聖保羅 train up成一個「頂天立地」的男子漢，有責任感，有承擔。 I was very impressed. 這兩年的時間證實校長對這番說話是認真的。

同意! 上年面試前比我個仔睇陳校長被明報訪問的短片, 佢睇完我問佢覺得陳校長點, 佢話: 佢幾好人喎...... 我相信細路仔直覺!

SPCPS is traditional. 你可以話係填鴨式，有默書，測驗及考試，還有不同的評估。跟其他 local school差唔多。
