預備9月小一入學

大家好, 我的女兒將於9月入讀小一, 籍此希望大家(包括現時家長)能夠分享下入學前的準備事宜. 由於我的女兒現時就讀的幼稚園屬活動教學模式, 課程比較淺, 加上她亦沒有學習任何音樂或樂器, 所以我很擔心她很難適應上了小學的生活, 希望大家能給我一些宝貴意見, 怎樣幫助小女預備.

另想問學校於入學前暑假期間會有預備班或活動嗎? 如有會大約在什么時候呢?

會有親子音樂班，請密切留意學校通知。

這些都是每位新生的必經階段，開學後，相信老師們及其他家長們，都會給予協助，讓妳女兒可以盡快適應學校的生活，不用擔心 !!

Thank you KaHeiBaBa!  You are always helpful and responsive.  Regarding the 親子音樂班, do you have any idea when it will be held?  I am planning a family trip during summer holiday but don't want to clash with the activities arranged by the school.

There will also be summer sports classes like swimming and ping pong for the new P1 students. There are different time slots. School should be sending a package out for P1 new students soon at the end of June.
New P1 parents - please bring your kids to the school's 95th Anniversary Bazaar on 25th and 26th June. You should have already received an email from school office. It will be good for your kids to see the school and meet some current students / teachers. So they will feel more comfortable going to school in Sept.

因為囡囡運動鞋頂趾, 想買過一對.  各位前輩, 想問下spccps對運動鞋有無限制?  另外對書包, 筆袋, 文具等有要求嗎?

運動鞋要全白色, 書包筆袋冇乜特別要求, but p1-3唔可以用鉛芯筆.

Hi liuiris,
You can apply for financial aid if you are worried about the $ situation. You can go to SPCCPS website to see if you are eligible. There is an online calculator. If someone applies, all the information will be kept within the financial aid department so even the teachers won't know who has financial aid or not.

Other then the school fee, actually there is not much expenses from SPCCPS unless you live really far away and then the school bus or transportation fee will be alot. Extracurricular activities like sports or music are half sponsored by school so will be a lot cheaper then learning from outside.
Lunch boxes are around $300 per month.

如果暑假要去旅行，我諗少不免都上唔到一堂兩堂，咁咪盡量配合，盡量希望上足囉，返唔到亦唔需要太過擔心、介懷。

有。運動鞋一定要純白色(建議買buster)，筆袋最少有5支鉛筆(小1-3)，小1-3不可以用鉛心筆(嚴厲實施，有個同學比老師罵到哭)
