今日St. Teresa interview

今日囝囝in 9:00至10:00, 我o地大約9:15am就到O左, 唔駛點排隊就有得in.  

考既入容好簡單, 問小朋友叫咩名, 男仔定女仔, 然後就做簡單既配對及穿珠仔.
最後問我是否清楚學校及對學校有咩期望, 全程唔駛10分鐘.


囝囝IN得唔錯, 希望呢間可以收佢上午班, 因為根德園只係收佢讀下午班.

My girl also had an interview at 11:00am this morning, and it only lasted for 15 mins including the waiting time, really fast.

o係面試証果度已經講o左,考試結果將o係12月上旬!由於我今日見唔係好多人排隊interview, 相信會好快有結果.

至於入選準則, 由於佢係一間天主教幼稚園, 如果小朋友係教徒, 相信機會會大d!

我in 2:30-3:30，我是第二批(每批5個)入去的家長，我眼見頭頭尾尾應有約50個小朋友在此段時間in。我覺得佢地安排得好好，登記的嬸嬸及interview的老師笑容滿面，很有禮貌，比我感覺相當好。一個老師很有步驟地in，不會一時問小朋友一時又問大人，冇問白癡問題(我之前見的一間名校有)。整體來說，很好。

有沒有家長的小朋友在St Teresa 就讀﹖有沒有覺得功課太辛苦﹖雖然小朋友已領洗﹐我希望他能讀天主教幼稚園﹐但是太太對St Teresa 沒有好感

I agreeed with you. My daugther answer all the questions very well, cos the teacher is really very nice and many times said "you are very good & smart" to my daugther during the interview.

如STS收小兒，留位費一定交，之前in既只當practise。你呢？

培正&宣道未in，但培正我一點信心都沒有，因我知我仔一定一定一定吾願自己入去，我正抓爆頭，諗緊有咩屎橋tum得掂佢入去！

其實我仲有好多變數，老公仲未完全同意比個仔repeat K1(現正讀K1)，我自已都有D”油”疑。如呢3間都收(咁好彩就好la)都會留位先，但會觀察埋下學期，諗清諗楚才決定。如3間都吾收or 老公打死都吾肯repeat，就塑性出年揾過間插K2，K2插吾到就原校升。唉！好煩呀！

My son is currently studying K3 in St Teresa.

Regarding the homework, frankly speaking, it is quite a lot. However, my son can manage to finish them in about 30 minutes or at most within an hour. Very often if I taught my son writing the wrong way (the chinese character), he would immediately point this out saying that his teachers had taught him otherwise. All these credits must go to the teachers. Most of all, my son loves to go to school and loves the teachers.

I would say the teachers are really good and nice. They are very willing to discuss with the parents about ways of helping the kids. They would phone the parents such that we would know what our kids were happening at school. This is particularly important as a start of school life.

But we must have to understand that this school is a low profile school and not commercial at all. It is a traditional school and there is not much other activities.

One of the reason I choose this school is that it is a Catholic school and no doubt the school emphasize much on discipline and conduct.

I recall when I sent my son to K1, I argued quite a lot with my husband. At that time my husband suggested that we should let our son start off K1 after he reached the age of 4 and yet I was the one who insisted that my son should start off once he reached the entry requirement of the kindergarten.

When I look back and if I were able to choose again, I would send my son to K1 when he is more mature. What is the difference of 1 year to his whole life? And yet 1 year means a lot when you are talking about a child of 3 to 5 years old range. Things are much easier of "older" kids and they can definitely perform better and with less effort.

我大女及細女分別就讀STS K2 & K1, 此校整體感覺像 toffeeli 說的一樣，女兒們入讀此校後觀察力同自覺性比以前強好多，這全賴學校及老師功勞！這所是非常低調但十分有實力的幼稚園，老師有著一套教學方法可令其學生主動學習，它們並不商業化，各老師及嬸嬸大多笑容滿臉，它們辦學巳有幾廿年歷史，雖然學校並沒有大型遊樂設施而且是一所著重學業、個人品格的學校。但至今我仍然滿有信心向我的家人說當日為女兒選這校是我最正確的決定。

呢3間(STS, PC, Alliance)我好認真架。In STS的表現，我比我仔95分架，扣5分因為佢一路講一路"屹"櫈。就算佢吾收，我都吾會怨呢間學校，因為我知我仔係可以做得咁好就己經夠。
