As noted, there is only difference between subjects, not between 1st, 2nd or 3rd.
Usually, someone may mention this because the result for the 3rd exam will not be considered in the 1st round or DSS after the interview. The secondary schools cannot get this in March. Therefore, the acceptance will not be offered to the students who can do well in the 3rd exam. This good result can only help the students in overall banding for lucky draw.
However, if the result in this exam is outstanding & you need to "knock the door" later, this will help the students to get a better offer in late stage.
