I think you should know every government school or subsidised school must take up integrated education now.
As there are no interviews for pupils and there is a heritage system for old pupils, a school must enroll some pupils with special educational needs even she has known it in advance.
Special educational needs include being disabled, autistic, dyslexia and hyperactive etc.
For many schools, they understand they need to prepare for these students and they take the earliest measures to help them upon they are enrolled.
For some schools, they have good experience to dealing with these pupils and the impact will be reduced to the minimum.
For some schools, they have not adequate resources to deal with these. These pupils are indeed suffering because their needs are not entertained on one hand and they may be bullied by other classmates on the other hand. Of course, some of these pupils may be trouble -makers in class.
The final point is the people to deal with these pupils are the normal teachers at school. It depends on their ability and training to help these pupils.
Please don't suppose that any school should be labelled. This happens in every public school now. |
