is there any international school cater for kids with special needs? my boy is a six years old kid with ADHD.

是否有國際學校願意收有ADHD的小朋友, 他今年6歲.

I think Hong Kong Academy will accept kids with special needs.

You may also consider Jockey Club Sarah Roe School, this school is a purpose built special school for children and young people who have severe learning difficulties.

It depends how severe the ADHD is.  Is he on medication?  Sarah Roe may not be the best choice for him if he is only borderling ADHD / Asperger.

ESF will take in children with ADHD, but parents would have to go through tough interview process.  In addition, if they decide that your child should be mainstream with special ed support, they would ask you to pay for your own classroom education assistant.

French International School and Hong Lok Yuen international also have special education support.  The service is also in addition to tuition fees, so expect to pay more.  If you do not do as recommended, they will ask you to leave.

Not sure whether you will give a small and new but expensive school a try. If yes, you may consider the Harbour School. A colleague of mine (an ABC Chinese with a Canadian wife) has a moderately dyslexic but otherwise normal kid there. Both the kid and his parents love the school and call it a godsend. The teaching method is based on the Montessori programme for the gifted and special need children. I don't really know anything about the school but understand that the school is very approachable and an individual visit is only a phone call away.

Try International Christian School as well. They just started some special education programmes for children with special needs in the past (few) year(s).
