收到信了!  家住港島區.
今天寫信巳放棄 RC, St Paul boy, 聖芳濟.  La Salle (自行20分抽到因爺爺.嫲嫲住41 net, 小朋友也只有六.日才接回家)
Ying Wah 2nd Inc. 不會去了
陳守仁及蔡繼無考 !
SPCC and DBSPD 還在考慮中.....因 DBSPD比較遠, 但我 pefer DBSPD 多過 SPCC.
祝願所有 parents 也找到心儀學校 !

Because his dad is the old boy so my boy got advantage/extra marks from there.   I really need to think it carefully in order to determine which schools my boy should go (of course, my boy's most preference is the best in-insight!) 4 years ago I made a wrong decision to let my daugther to go a new DSS.   Eventually, it was not the school I'm looking for.  I felt bad and I discussed w/ daughter, she agreeds I made a switch.  Anyway, a long story to talk....

A friend of mine, his boy got 5-6 offers included SPCC, DBSPD and SP Boys..... He picked DBSPD as he is old boys.

Interesting, old boys' kids can get into both SPCC and DBSPD simultaneously, why some parents keep on saying unfair and favour old boys. If the kid is excellent, why undermine his and his family's effort?????

Grandparents, parents and son all did really well. It's really deserve a firework kind of celebration!!

Can you tell us a bit more why you think it's a wrong decision to have chosen the DSS for your daughter? I am sure you had made the best choice at the time.

Will you be able to share w/ me which schools that you or your boy most preferable ?  Please PM me if you don't mind.  I'm still straggling where my boy should go since he loves both schools.

If he stays at DBSPD, his grand parents can take him as I'm the working mon....

You misunderstood me... I was saying the NEW DSS....  Please email me to talk about this topic as I don't want to say somethings that may or may not to make the the parents up-sad here.  

Couple month ago, I was posted the DSS school my daugter I studied & the reason why she switched to other the school.  Most of the parent at that new DSS school blamed me why I was not think it throughfully before taking the offer....  

If that is not the good school, why there were 3,000 (or over 3000) applications this year??  What should I say....

What I can say .....more than 80% is the luck & 20% is from parents. There is no way you can judge a childs' ability within 10 or 20 minuntes.  

So, there is NO fair or unfair.

I know your boy is in the G8 or G9, he is a smart boy,  you should be proud of him.  I saw a lot of your posts, you're a postive & fair person.  

Could you please PM me how you feel DBS VS SPCC ?  Your valued is highly appreciated.

It's a happy problem and all other parents dream about it. Release the "Golden Seat" asap.
