Does Victoria CWB and Kornhill make a difference ? Teachers said high level they are the same but it's up to each school to decide if / how to implement.. is that true ? It seems most parents always refer to Victoria CWB or North Point. Does it mean Kornhill one is not good ?

My girl is studying in Vic PN at Kornhill now.  My friend knows the principal of Lower Kornhill, who said that the curriculum of all campus (except IB schools) are all the same.  Vic CWB used to be more "popular" because the cheif principal stationed there and it is common sense that the teachers there would be more alert during their work.   I know a mother of my girl's classmate, whose son is studying in K3 at Lower Kornhill this year, her friend's son is studying in CWB K3, they compared the homework and found out that CWB K3 is dictating short sentences while Kornhill K3 is dictating a paragraph already, because CWB adopted IB approach, her friend was very regret to send her son to CWB instead of Kornhill.

It has been 4 months since my girl started PN, she only got sick once, I should say that the environment is really good and I will let her stay until K3.

Are your kid in Lower Kornhill? We might become classmates next year as my girl got an offer to E/P class.

連hubby都表左態話想阿女讀得開心啲,我都會偏向維記.(真係有啲唔捨得SC).

Joy33: 我情形同你類似, 但比你煩少一樣野... 女女讀緊 vic pn, 考左 SC 但 waiting list, 所以唔洗煩轉校 lu , & 小學已有25分母校 back up, 最重要都係揀一間女女讀得開心我地又放心的kindergarten, 所以應該會繼續 vic !

My girl is now in Middle Kornhill, PN at Lower Kornhill does not admit small babies ar (born after August).  My girl will be promoted to K1 trilingual am class next year.  E/P class only has pm session, right?
My friend's girl is studying in Lower Kornhill PN now, the location should be more convenience than Middle Kornhill.  But my girl just adapted to the school environment well, so I do not plan to change to other campus lu :)

I think it's only 2 to 3 sentences as a paragraph lor

Thanks v much for the Lower Kornhill Victoria info. I was a bit regret I did not apply CWB or North Point one (as my son is Sep born baby and those are too competitive to him) Now I am much more relief.

We got offer for "afternoon international nursery class". The admin said it is trilingual stream. So I think they offer trilingual in the afternoon too ?

Yes the location is very good as it's very closed to the MTR and no need to cross any street.

E/P class only have PM section.  This arrangement is very bad.  I didn't remember what I applied and I didn't expect they will admit my child cos she did pretty bad on that day.. dun really speak up..

Anyway, I won't let her study anything extra for K1 on weekday so I guess PM class is still okay.  She still have some interviews coming and waiting for some sch's results so cna't confirm whether she will study in Vic finally.  But I paid $660 already.

我囡現在在VIC讀緊K2, 之前佢係CANNAN讀, 因我想囡英文好D, 同佢去考插班生K2, 很LUCKY比佢考到, 現在她超喜歡上學, 而且很喜歡VIC的老師....

I think they have different measurement (esp from those traditional schools). We think my son did pretty good last year in PN interview but got rejected. My son did pretty Ok (comparable with last year as of age 2) and luckily got an offer. My friend's son (also small baby) walked away but got an offer in Vic North Point.

Anyway, I feel as long as your kid does Ok and not cry in the interview, the rest is like lucky draw (if not relationship).

My gal actually did pretty bad in PN interview as she didn't speak or move. :(  For K1 interview, she also did pretty bad but she followed the instructions and followed to speak few Mandarin words.

Maybe it's lucky that in my group, one came very late, one scared and freeze.  So comparatively my gal wasn't the worst. haha

And for PN interview, I didn't speak in the teacher-parent section but my hubby did ask a lot this time.  May that account for the offer as well.
