有人話梗係要victoria個offer,難入D, 無可否認佢個校舍係好靚, SC又真係殘好多,但呢度無咩人提過呢間KG ...仲係心大心細中..

你真係講中我心聲,呢個都係我的考慮, 人地成日話BB返左學好易病, touch wood我囝真係無咩事, 呢個真係學校清潔做得好, 我囝返學都好開心, 前排打風無學返, 佢會自己拎書包要我同佢返學, 個個都話SC好, 我好怕會決定錯呀..

上次同阿仔去in小一要帶埋功課去, 望到sc小朋友的功課, 真係好得, 深過我個仔果間之餘, 仲好整潔.
然後見到sc fourm講今年考小一成績, 我見好幾個都話入左spcc, 所以我相信sc考小一去名校的比率幾好.
另外, vc出名英文好, 我個女出年都會入去讀. 入小一都算不錯, 識得有個vc小朋友今年考小一, 好多名校都有2nd in, 但成績無sc咁勁. 活動d開心d.
我無考sc, 覺得太逼, 太多小朋友. 同埋我個細女, 都無乜機會.
btw, 見阿仔考今年小一成績麻麻, 如果我個女今年有考sc而又收我個女, 我會選sc.

如果小學不是大問題,而樓主又咁鍾情維記,如果我是你,我會選維記. SC是出名,但轉去SC又要適應新環境,又有多少少uncertain的地方,若是我,就不會去搏一鋪...

我囡囡都係Vic 讀PN (之前讀Playgroup) , 有St Cat AM offer, 曾經都有你們的疑問. 但係好快就諗到囡囡雖要及自己同Daddy 意向.
校園清潔係我最注重, 我非常之應同校長係家長會曾經講過的一句話安全及整潔係非常重要, 你哋多位家長都係想提供一個安全地方令子囡安全, 開心下學習.
呢句話同埋校園的安排係比到我好大信心同埋放心, 無論係校園清潔, 茶點, 校車 (有埋雙肩安全帶) , 各樣都令我好滿意, 每對父母都想係能力範圍內給予子囡最好, 唔係話係Vic 就唔會撞到跌到, 無細箘病痛傳染, 只不過佢哋可以比我信心, 佢哋係會將呢啲情況減至最低最細. 佢哋一病就幾日, 如果讀一啲要追成績啲學校都有壓力, 到時又病又唔開心仲慘,
我唔係話St Cat 或者其他學校提供唔到, 只不過係Vic 係呢方面比我感覺突出我都無雖担心仲可以放心. 始中K1 都仲細個, 自理能力自我保護能力都係低, 雖要時間學習提升., 再加上開心學習亦都好重要, 讀書仲有十幾二十年讀. 我朋友話 仔仔係St Cat讀K2有日佢放假去接仔仔放學見到同班另一家長對佢說 : 你個仔唔得呀 ! 原來傾開先知如果孝試唔達某標準係要見家長, 其實學校及家長有相同目標係好, 但我自己同Daddy呢個時候就唔係着重呢方面.

而且去了好幾間Interview 我都唔明佢哋, 啲小朋友得二三歲, 我係要佢來學習, 唔係要你考佢學咗幾多收唔收佢.  而家唔係去見工個老細話我呢度唔係比你學習, 要你來係你工作範圍內幫公司業務流暢怎致增加利潤 ( 好似想揾吸收能力高又表現到出來的小朋友, 老師教得容易, 孝到間好小學 , 升小結果多出一個優生). 二三歲應該過的幼年生活唔係咁 !

至於教學方面Vic 唔見得差, 英文都好好, 記律方面可能比St Cat 鬆少少, 但末致於失衡. St Cat 有600學生一級, 入較為出名/多媽媽心儀小學人數自然多, 好以金巴論都係好好的一間學校點介咁少人堤只不過係一級唔太多人

When choosing kindergarten, you may ask yourself (1) what character is your kid?  (2) do you buy the school mission/teaching method?  (3) check out the experience of the teachers in the school (as it is important for teacher to deal with/ tackle emotions of young kids). (4) school location and setting/envt.   
My son is studying at Victoria K3 and my daugher is in PN class this year.  I can share with you my experience there.  My son is a super small boy (Dec 05) and it was a nighmare for both K1 and primary school applications (small boy usually got less adv in the interview).   Now, he got accepted by a few good primary local schools though I can say his academic performance is not as strong as those kinders in kowloon tong.   

Confidence to speak out, a postive attitude of learning (love to go to school ) and eagerness to explore in every setting are the most important things I looked for during my kid's kinder life..... Victoria empowered them all these things..... Also I did not want to advance early primary learning in kindergarten life.... though some parents may think that it is very important to learn ABC and 123, etc.....but I will opt for a happy learning atmosphere for kids under 6.   

One more thing, no matter you are from which kindergarten, primary school life is a totally different world .... all kindergarten students (no matter from where) need to face the challenges and transition.......

Also family education is equally important to enrich what they learnt from the school .....

如果唔使煩小學的問題, 就選維記

如要去考名校的話, 好似 sc 同 kv 會 train d 小朋友多 d, 幾年後你就知道分別

完全認同，我囝囝兩間都有去考，vic收咗，因為佢哋interview ge模式好適合二、三歲小朋友ge心智發展，不會讓囝囝驚到唔敢答問題。SC我囝囝考唔到，見工式ge 面試佢始終表現得好驚，平時都唔係咁ge。雖然SC易入本地小學，但都冇法。

How about Victoria CWB? does it have higher chance of getting into good K1 compared with SC?
I remember Eason Chan's daughter used to study K1 there.... then moved to CCKG then DGJS.

Yes, how about CWB?  Daddy went with my daughter to the interview.  He said the campus was pretty old and "worn-out", but the interviewing process was so much better & catered for children of 2-3 years old.  I have to agree with some parents that the interviews of certain kinders are simply like job interviews...

Maybe that was a rainy day when I took my son to SC for the interview, I felt it was messy. SC seems older than Vic.
