Maryknoll Convent與St. Mary是齊名嗎?

請問Maryknoll Convent與St. Mary是齊名嗎? 是一樣咁有名氣嗎? 學術上是否也差不多呢? 聽朋友說St. Mary 很出名, 與Maryknoll Convent一樣咁出名, 但本人以前(很多年前讀書嘅時候)都冇咩聽過St. Mary的, 唔知係唔係近年才出名d呢? 定係因本人是井低蛙所以唔知道呢? 請各位家長指教吓吧! 謝謝!

Back in 30 years' ago, I already knew St Mary's and Maryknoll. I lived in TST and always saw the St Mary's girls. They are very polite and humble.

St Mary's ranking is always higher than Maryknoll, no matter 30 years ago or now.

But with no doubt, Maryknoll's campus should be one of the best in HK.

I definitely think they both have same level of reputation.

學術上都齊名，不過由於地區關係，maryknoll會多d背景好既學生。

They represent two different styles of schools:
St. Mary's 很低調. So it's normal that you have not even heard of it before.
Maryknoll 帶點英式貴族學校的感覺 + campus 靚


Academically people usually rank the schools using HKCEE results in the old days, i.e. how many As in total and how many girls getting 9A, 10A. The sisters in St. Mary's did not encourage their students to take more than 8 subjects in the exam, so the numbers of As would be logically less than other schools.

I think St. Mary is more traditional in the teaching style.

maryknoll 其中一個selling point 係個campus, 如果佢同鮮魚行交換校舍, 我相信選鮮魚行的人會多過maryknoll

for my generation , really don't have idea for now, ST Mary girls are very presentable and confident, and win lots of inter-school champions, their english standard very good. It is the best school amongst the Canossian family.
should be better or same ranking as MCS.

之前上網睇過兩間公開考試成績, 好似係差唔多. 女拔就勁好多.
朋友個女係st mary, 小學成績很好, 直上中學, (之前要前80名先有機會).
但佢話裡面d 女孩好叻. 現在佢科科都追唔上. 特別係數學科, 佢係補習班做過紅磚仔d數學測驗卷, 佢話好淺, st mary 深好多.
st mary 唔係死讀書喎, 佢有好多課外活動.
