大家知唔知stafford既P1 allocation 好唔好呀？係邊度搵到資料？

Then do u mean Stafford's English standard is better / comparable to that of St. Catherine ? But St. Cat. is more famous and well-known target for most of the parents.

I also like both schools' English training. But concerning the overall development of the child, like confidence, presentation; and also Chinese, is SC better?

我都是喺到諗緊讀SC (收下午)好定Stafford (收上午), 好難取捨!

As advised by Miss Chan during briefing, they would pick out 1 out of every 5 applicants. The available K1 seats for next year are around 110.
Yes, Stafford's graduates could be able to get into private or DSS primary school easier as they are well trained for good Eng and academic standard.... also in written tests or exams. Just heard the Eng standard of Stafford is even higher than St. Cat. But I dunno if it is true or not.
My gal has been put at waiting list of SC...... so no need to have headache at the moment. Now, I am already contented with Stafford's offer.... so now with no more disappointment in St Cat's result.  Up till now, I only paid deposit at Stafford.... but instead of holding up all offers as Stafford is the most preferable amoung offers being given.
For me, the final result should mostly be either Stafford (paid deposit) or Good Hope (but still with result being pending)......

A case study for your consideration:

I have 2 friends with kids studying in SF and SC.

The mom with son studying in SF thinks it's not good and now busily applying for other kindergardens.

The mom with dauguter in SC got very good primary school offer. They make very hard effort to send his 2nd son to SC then.

以學生數目來説，我認為成績不俗。

我忍唔住打左電話問多次陳主任, 因我最關心就係net是否由K1-K3跟足全程, 佢話係K1-K3, 除了中文堂及普通話堂外, 就係NET教..而且,明年開始每日都有約30分鐘普通話堂, 因SC我是EC班...好吸引
據我知SC不是日日有普通話堂(因是EC班), 唉..好苦惱
SC到K2開始, NET不會如K1時期跟足, 會share 另一班, 相對時間又少左..但SC名氣大...對將來考學校會有幫助

Stafford english level is much higher than SC and they have NET teacher from K1 to K3.  Teachers know each kid ability quite well and will discuss with parents about their progress and the area that need to be improved.   SC cannot provide this kind of communication.
Stafford's Chinese level is also quite high and the kids are very competitive in academic.
Although SC is very famous but I don't think it helps in P1 application, coz I experienced.  It all depends on the kid's ability.

如果係我 , 我會揀Stafford.....小班教學 , take care 小朋友會好些 ; 且程度高 , NET跟足三年 , 双班主任  , 日日有PTH 班 ; 學校有courses 幫小朋友考cert , 日後易些考私立小 / 直資小學 , 感覺老師亦非常親切 , 校舍雖細 , 但幾靚和幾新 , 環境不錯
St Cat係大班教學 , 恐照顧方面不及小班教學 , 且教舍及設施非常殘舊 , 但無可口非 , St Cat係好出名 , 差唔多人人都會報 , 而Stafford就唔出名 , 少好多人報 , 但我也會較重質素 , 不只求名校 , 這只是我个人意見 !!!

昨天也有問陳主任, 佢話視乎班房size, 最多都係28人一班, 平均1:14(不會超過1:15)
我先生又好鍾意SC, 佢話怕將來考小學時, 會先睇你小朋友來自哪一間KG, 其實考小學時...係咪會先睇KG多過睇本身個小朋友既能力呢?(呢一點我有點疑問 )..如果只是睇小朋友能力(academic), 其次先睇KG, 甘就唔駛甘concern名氣KG..但事實歸現實...現勢係先睇名氣後睇質素
(請大家不要誤會, 本人不是懷疑SC質素, 深信SC有相當大既實力/優點, 純粹作課程比較)

有一樣野我好想同你地考慮SC定STAFFORD既家長講一講,STAFFORD其實係同YORK係有關連,有時STAFFORD既小朋友會去左YORK既校舍同YORK既小朋友一齊上堂架~
所以如果家長不太鐘意YORK的話就考慮入唔入STAFFORD
但其實我覺得揀學校唔一定要揀名氣高,
名氣高亦唔代表一定入到好小學..
既然2間都收,好好考慮一下吧~

係呀..我先生亦都係考慮到Stafford與York是同一個集團..怕將來小學會因為呢一點而不考慮小朋友(因可能先入為主)...怕明明有實力都被埋沒...
