雖然係咁...不過唔知點解...近年HKU的收生公佈期往往係最後既...好多時D學生比另一間(例如Cityu收咗...又交咗留位費)先收到HKU的通知...都唔知點算...我親戚個女就係咁...佢地普通家庭放棄留位費又唔舍得...

from a HKU law學生,
以前是文科理科商科都沒關係,
不過跟jupas舊制入,UE一定要非A則B,
沒有一個人是C的,一個都冇,
其他AL subjects至少一兩個A吧~

Do you know the requirement of non-JUPAS like IB?

I mean acceptance requirement, not min. req.

2008 CUHK
The Faculty has not adopted a quota or ratio of JUPAS to non-JUPAS applicants but seeks to admit the best candidates, based on merit. Its standard conditional admissions offer for the 2008-2009 intake was raised this year in reference to the required International Baccalaureate (IB) points (a maximum of 45 points can be achieved in the IB but a score of more than 36 is generally considered to be good and the conditional offer for the 2008 intake was set at 38 IB
points) and UK A level scores (the conditional offer being raised from BBB for the 2007 intake to ABB for the 2008 intake), reflecting an overall increase in the calibre of the non-JUPAS applications we received.

I guessed lower than 38, eventually 38 is the threshold score for most hot programs.

CUHK may need higher score now. For HKU, many people say 42 and some say 41/42.

After looking at the real figures, CityU LLB is always the easiest HK LLB to enter.

As HK changed from HKALE to HKDSE, 38 is the magic number for IB .......

It is a new equibrilium, as HKALE > IBDP > HKDSE.....
