hello~我仔下年度上小一
佢都係大頭蝦一名
我現在都在train佢做完功課要自己check一次有無擦左忘記寫返或漏寫日期等, 然後要自己執書包, check清楚帶齊手冊功課
佢下午去學琴我不在家, 都要靠佢自己執好琴書
在家裡多做養成習慣, 希望佢上到小一可以醒醒定定~

Give him a "homework" folder and tell him to put homework and notices inside the folder straight away.  Stick a post-it in his handbook on the things that he needs to bring back from school or need to do at school ( eg. return library books).
You will get used to it. My son is in P2 and these things still happen. I will just let him deal with it when that happens. If he gets scolded by the teacher, then it's his own fault.

No worry! This is only a minor thing. You should focus more on the homework that he can or can't do. By emphasizing too much on others like homework folder will surely distract his attention from the actual learning. I believe he will be able to do what you would like him to do later on. Split your time, say 95% on homework + 5% on other things instead of 70% on homework folder + 30% on homework. Worth a try! Should work!
