原來已經完左個maths quiz，重派埋，f.1仔話同平時咁上下。大個啦，自己攪得，我齋睇佢回報。好似話有中期評估之類....掛，唔知四定五月有個中期報告再見見家長 ，呢個學習節奏令我好安心，自已覺得老師跟得好貼， :loveliness: THX V M

May I ask - 1.What is '中期報告'? 2.Does it account for the final exam? 3.Any parents' day w/ class teachers in Apr/May?

Hi,
1.Not So sure...
2.It's shouldn't be anything about the final exam., if my memory didn't failed me.
3.Last parents" day, Class teacher mentioned that a report will be given back to us with the mid-term exam report after those Quizs. Would there be any parent's day again, I have no clue on it. :)

Would some senior form parents like to share, please?:)

1/ It is a "Progress Report" which is issued by the end of April. It is a simple one-page report covering the subject performance (Very Good, Good, Satisfactory, or Needs improvement) and Effort (Good, Satisfactory, or Needs improvement) on all subjects in that semester. No Grade or Teacher comments are given.

2/ It doesn't account for final exam.

3/ There will not be any other parents' day in the second term.

ROP -- Rites of Passage -- is a 4-week summer programme to be participated by students who finishes Form 3. It is held in Queensland Australia and it involves outward bound activities, enquiry learning... It was first held in 2009 with a quota of around 50, extending to 100 in 2010, and I think it will eventually be opened for all Form 3ers in 2012 (not sure!).

The Progress Report is issued to all students. My girl only attended the English Enrichment Programme in Form 1 (Easter time, Brisbane) and the ROP programme, so I have no comment on other summer programmes offered by the school. You can check up the summer camps in US and UK, especially if you want your kid to study abroad after Form 2 or From 3.

Thx 4 ur comment, so ur girl is at least in f.4 now. (Easter Programme for English Enrichment) What is it about?

I'm a F.1 parent & my kid newly joined st parl's family.  Quite often we really got no idea about what's going next.  As my conversation w/ class teachers last time was so short, I think I'll prepare well for next meeting!

They have several group projects on going this two weeks(History, Geog. etc..), in case you don't aware of that.

He pass me a notice for parents about the some school activities in the coming months. Some for us and some for high form concerned students.

好奇問下，如題,

好少人會關心spcc的sports。其實全人發展好需要平衡，體育我個人覺得重要嘅，spcc有活動，有人材，有資源，可惜積極參與的氣氛欠奉。好似無參與中學田徑賽，無田徑隊訓練，校內係有好多其他學會同活動，但青少年身體正常發展有加強體育的實際需要，十個school days 先一課體育，比小學學還不如。羸輸好閒，培養團隊精神同鬥志先係大前題，專重對手同比賽規則，報從判決，積極提升自己才算sportmenship，this is what People say 'Sportmanship', not those gentlemen demonstrated in TV NEWS。
