Dear all,
Has anyone here ever heard of him?  Is he good enough to assess the general development of young children?  I have just got the information that his three-hour developmental assessment just costs HK$1600 with written report.

It was a conincidence that I happened to meet him in a Sensory Integration lecture hosted by him today, at St. James Settlement.  The lecture was rather brief and I do not have any idea how he is in his profession really, can't possibily judge a person in one encounter.  (Were you there too ?   )

Dear Dommom,
So did I.  I finished the lecture at 6:15 p.m.  I can guess who you are.  Will you come on this coming Sunday?  Dr. Lo kept on selling his psychology course to those who were eager to change their occupation (majority of them were teachers) during the whole lecture.  I just doubted the credibility of his 'post-graduate' course, even non-degree holders could be enrolled.  He declared that the course was internationally recognised.  God knows!!!  However, many people decided to study his psy. course on that day.  His course was far from being professional when compared with a similar course presented by 葉張蓓蓓 (senior O.T. of Queen Mary Hospital) that I attended last month.  I deeply resented his criticism that he himself rather than O.T. could conduct professional assessment (recognised by the government) for children who had S.I. problem.  Really?

Yes, let us introduce ourselves next Sunday if you are going to be there.  Perhaps we were the only 2 there who were not teachers or social workers.  I have to say that Dr. Lo's lecture was all over the place, and he bragged too much on his achievement in the S.I. area.  He made it sounded like S.I. therapies can "cure all" - the greatest invention since Apple Pie !

I just doubt about his conduct...  In Hong Kong, academic qualification and conduct are two different things.  Professor Steven Cheung from HKU is an excellent example.

我先前都有聽聖雅?講座及上他們的課程,,,,,但覺得錢就俾左...得著的.............

正如你地所講，除左部份人之外，大部份都滿意Dr. Lo.

我有個舊同事上過Dr. Lo gar course, 仲攞埋cert., 嗰時我個舊同事都未有學士學位, 我聽我呢個舊同事做分析, 見到佢真係分析到小朋友gar特點.

之後，我都試過旁聽Dr. Lo gar 堂, 覺得佢真係有料, 但係佢轉數好快, 唔係咁易catch得到, 好彩我之前都係讀social science, 仲讀過好多Psy courses, 所以跟得到。有人跟唔到，話佢唔掂，我唔奇怪。
