Sharing of Interview at Stafford

Just attended the interview at Stafford this afternoon. Dunno if the offers are really slim for morning class as it is a small school. I forgot to advise the interviewer that I won't mind even for offers at afternoon class :(

Anyone can share their views or comments on Stafford after interview ? Also any comments from parents of current students / graduates ?

Don't worry. Last year, we applied only after the results of most famous kinders had been announced and still got the offer for PM class. We ask for change to AM class and was successful immediately after submitting the request letter!

Really ? Then did u take the a.m. seat finally.
I'd like Stafford as it seems have a series of method training up kids with good standards of Eng & Maths. Am I correct ? The school fee is rather expensive comparatively. But as long as it is a good kinder, anyway, I am willing to afford it.

The interview was not that difficult as being asked about names of 7 colours,  3 fruits, 6 animals. That's it.  It was finished within 10 minutes.  

And I believe it would definitely help if your kid(s) can also say hi and bye to the teachers.

But my kid took interview being conducted by a NET teacher who was very nice.

咦！我星期六上午in,係好似去supermarket咁買嘢喎！入去課室之前老師問咗幾條問題，就入去買嘢，一路叫我個仔攞呢樣，攞嗰樣，又問呢d係咩，咩顏色等等！我自己覺得好搞笑！不過我見隔離個interview room,係坐低問問題，唔知點解唔同呢？
另外，我想問30／10係咪第一曰interview?同埋係咪都應該收架（我聽d friend講）？

Is your kid Big B or Small B ? My one is Small B.

Many kids (including us) were being arranged to wait at a classroom, with many toys there. Then we were asked to sit in another room for interview. With long waiting time, my gal was impatient and even wanna to go to playgroung for fun.

The NET teacher just asked my kid with questions like color, animals, fruits..... and that's it. I hope we can really get an offer as the teacher also praised my gal has developed quite well ... she even moved around the hip when I asked her to dance. She passed all the questions he had asked.  She could say hi and bye and gave big hug to the NET teacher. The interview only really short and only lasted for few minutes.

At briefing, Miss Chan said they will allocate offers at different session of interview date. And it should be around choosing 1 out of 5. I dun believe they must give offer to those for early application or early interview. The competitions for seats at Kln Tong kinders are indeed very keen.

我個仔都係細仔，又係係一個課室等，都等咗四十五分鐘！我個仔好d,因為有thomas火車，我個仔睇到定埋型！

haha.... really ?
But my gal had already play all the toys like fishing, kitchen, car, blocks.... so i brought her to see those pictures at corridor .... waiting for long... i even cannot carry her for so long... she wanna to escape from me.... but luckily, when the NET teacher came out & say hi to her, she still could respond a "hi" to him.

It is good to have warm-up time.... but really cannot be too long :(

It is less famous than York, of course.
But I believe there should be at least few hundreds of applicants.........fighting for 100 seats (incl am & pm).

Can anyone confim if Stafford is in the same group/ organisation as York?

They didn't say but just said the interviews would be lasted for few more weeks in Nov.

Yes, Stafford should be within the same group as York. But the feeling at Stafford is much better than York.....maybe Miss Chan was an experienced teacher and was ver patient in answering lots of questions after the briefing session.

There won't be any issue like debentures, trust ... or whatever title to get money for builing a new campus.

Though the campus is small, it is quite nice and not old at all with slides, houses, cars .... for fun in outdoor playground. Further, I "buy" it with good training of English and two class teachers (with one to be NET).

Do you mean the NET teacher had read 2 books ?

For us, the NET teacher turned over all pages of 2 books ... keep asking my gal about the names of those animals and colors being shown at the book. As my gal could answer them well and then finished very quickly. And he even had no more to ask and just said my gal had passed that 2 books.

Is it the same for your kid .... reading that 2 books for animals and colors ? and also names of fruits and also do cutting a fruit ? That's all for it.

My interview was finished within 25 -30 mins (keep asking questions by the NET teachers, including reading 2 books) It is crazy !  May be mine one is a big boy.
