Same to you, my son has been granted admission to St. Paul Church p.m. class. Reference to other topics related to SKH, your son has been accepted by SKH to p.m. class, but my son will be at Mt. Bulter a.m. class.

It is difficult to decide which is the most suitable one to my son? How about yours?

In fact I also want to hear some experience from parents who have kids studying in this school.  There are quite a bit of discussions about SKH, but so far I have only seen one or two comments about SPC.

oh...咁真係o岩喇~~~
其實關於聖公會，我已經交左信想睇下轉唔轉到上午班，因為我奶奶不停咁同我講讀上午班好D，時間多D喎，咁我就順佢意囉，最後得唔得我都冇乜所謂喇~~~
我同老公商量過會比Ryan仔讀聖公會，其實並唔係話聖保羅堂(SPC)唔好，只係我實地睇過兩間學校，比較過後聖公會比較適合Ryan仔。
1.以教學方面兩者都係差不多，一樣係活動教學同埋會教英文及普通話但上次問SPC老師，佢地話會有默書但不計分。
2.聖公會出面有一個大操場，戶外環境較大大，又有固定課室比小朋友上堂。而SPC係間教堂，所以佢地只係用屏風分隔課室，如果隔離大聲D教書都可能會聽到。似終我覺得有一個固定課室對小朋友上課較為集中。
3.再加上以兩間幼稚園派位比較後，聖公會升到St Paul Co-edu或第一志願較多。同埋聽番老一輩所講，傳聞(未經証實架，都係聽番黎！)St Paul Co-edu或其他名校都會預先留位比聖公會幼稚園小朋友。

以上純粹係個人意見~~~

I've not yet decided. Compare these 2 kinders, I felt the teachers at SPC is nicer, friendly and very patience to children. She pointed out that SPC hope to have parents' involvement in their school life and activities, like volunteery work... Apart from the school facilities, I am impressed by the teachers during the interview. This is only my personal feeling.

I want to transfer my son to SKH's main school in Central. As I will send my son to school everyday, it will be a long way from home (we are living at the south side of the island). I like the school campus at Mt. Bulter, but it is not too convenience.

I will gather more information and comments from others before the final decision.

Any people can give me some advice whether this school is good or not. For primary school, will hv chance to a better school? I want my daughter to have 9 years free study fm government & don't want to choose private primary school so I don't know SPC is good or not.

My daughter has pm class offered as well at SPC.  Be honest speaking, I agree some of mums' view, SPC teacher are much nicer than SKH.  As I have an experienced in different treating during the both interviews and shareing to u:

SKH:  After I filled in the form in english version and found are requested to use chinese version.  Then I explained to her what can I do.  She gave me the correction fluid for erasing in chinese instead of english.  But I wonder it would be too ugly as too many "white area" and not respect feeling.  Afterthat, I requested to get the new form and shredded the old, then the senior one so rude to answer, our form just fitted for everyone and no more spare. Even ugly, no way.....
(My daughter is on waiting list status in SKH)

SPC:  My daughter was arranged an interview on 9:30am.  I think they are missing and no one called my daughter name during that time.  Then I consulted and they found this is their fault.  The teachers are polite to say sorry 4-5times and arranged my daughter at the first one order for the coming patch.  

The above sharing only my personal feeling for both kindergarden.

Thanks for your sharing. In that case, will you take SPC ? They don't have a fixed classroom and only divided by partition so this is one of my concerns. Any other kinder that you've applied for?

路過架咋,想幫朋友問下,畢拉山聖公會好嗎?  派位又會派去邊架??  男仔多數可考邊間小一呢?  女仔又會考到邊間呢?

I am not decide yet.  As I will have 1 more interivew.  But I will pay the first round $500 at SPC anyway.  Secondly, i want my daughther to am class instead of pm.

Is SPC accept your kid???

其實兩間學舍個校長都係一樣，所以派位都冇話唔同。至於派位有家長講過今年有約20位派到 St. Paul Co-edu，同埋好多派第一志願(實際係邊間我不太清楚喇)。至於女仔我真係冇留意呀，事關我只係留意男仔咋~~

Wow, having been up here for a while.... my experiences were.....

Both SKH and St Paul Church accepted my son for pm classes.

I wrote accidentally in English for the Application form in SKH and they didn't fuss about it cos I didn't know we had to write in Chinese until after submiited the form. The teachers I came across on the form submission day were very nice and the teacher on the interview day were OK too, although she is a bit young.

Then, SPC to fill the in the form day I found the teachers were OK but very experienced by their "format". I found them nice too.....

I am quite happy for my son to go on PM class in either one but I have Rhenish and Kau yan to interview soon as yet, then I will decide which one to choose and which is best fit into our family model.

Both SKH and SPC are famous school, to my opinions, I want my children to go to Bonham Rd or St Peter for primary, St. Paul Co-Edu is a bit.....too....I would say even the parents will be in the competition at all time, ie status, let alone the child will be in the intangible pressure of being competed......this is only my opinion, I want my child grow up happily in a less competitve environment.... if you know what i mean....
