Net12 - St. Francis VS Marymount

各位家長,

本人女兒只得15分，本人和大部分Net12家長一樣心儀Marymount，聽聞舊年15分入到St.Francis。但是如果要扣門Marymount、，第一輪一定要選擇Marymount，15分入到Marymount機會等於0!




我應該選擇那一間? 請賜教!

會唔會安全D, 試ST FRANCIS, 因為把握大D.

如果覺得女兒真的很有實力, 再努力去叩MARYMOUNT OR 入讀 ST FRANCIS, 全力栽培P1 考好好成績, 再插P2 MARYMOUNT.

15分真係博左聖方濟各先啦,萬一唔得大抽獎再填佢第一志願都好大機會.
在我眼中,兩間是但一間收都咁開心,冇所謂啦.

叩門marymount, 機會好微架, 因為好多舊生女女拎住20分入唔到(你都知15分無機, 20分都係得1/3機會), marymount舊生網絡好強, d家長一早已經舖晒路, 外人想叩門, 除非真係好特別叻or識人啦

舊年有人第一輪15分入到聖方濟各,第二輪有人第二志願都入到聖方濟各,如果你本身是12網,第二輪填聖方濟各第一志願,基本上冇問題.
以上資料是舊年D家長講既,今年就唔知,你可以參考一下.

其實呢區女校真係多得瑪利曼吸左大部份申請,做成如聖方濟各及聖保祿天主教呢d咁好既學校,只要你真係想入(頭輪就算唔得,次輪甲一及乙一填佢都極有機)都不太難.

多謝各位家長的寶貴意見！本身在Net12，其實如果入到St.Francis已經心滿意足，但是聽聞St. Francis功課量甚多，所以才首選Marymount。如果第二round乙一第一Marymount第二St. Francis會否冒險?

係呀, 我諗有d人應該係得既, 睇下個number靚唔靚. 原本我都想試marymount, 不過睇完一輪, 多數都係放spcs第一算.

I also have a friend who chose Marymount 1st, St Francis 2nd this yr....... failed for both and allocated to a school with lots of 南亞kids........ And also have a friend who has twin girls, she chose marymount 1st for them and st james 2nd... then allocated to a school called 嘉道理小學(I can't remember the exact name).  Remember last yr the birth is lower than this yr cos' the girls are born in 2004, a yr after SARS........ so may be can suggest yr friend not to be too aggressive......

再次多謝各位家長給與意見，我已報定私小做backup!

還有一個問題，我還有一個仔仔，你們會為了細仔而去報 St.James or 軒小? 這樣做就犧牲了大女!

Round 2 乙1 - 第—選St.James or 軒小機會高嗎?

Frankly speaking, my personal opinion is in terms of academic strength, the 3 schools, St. francis, St. Paul's, and Marymount are more or less on par.  The reason for more ppl wanted to get into Marymount in recent years are simply because it's an English as a teaching medium school and has a very good campus.    For homework, Marymount has got less amount than SPPCS, and Marymount only hold 2 exams each year, girls studying there have less pressure but don't forget only around 60% of her primary students enter into its secondary section, which is less than that of both St. Paul's and  St. Francis.  So this is something one needs to take note of.
If English is that's what you're concerned of , you could still be able to brush up this area by sending your girl to extra english lessons outside the school.   

What I would be concern if my girl is in Marymount is that if my girl stays is those below  the average, she runs the risk of not getting into a Band 1 school.

比我就唔會,女仔係呢區只要你唔揀瑪利曼,真係好着數好筍.
阿女惦左,仔咪全力部署囉,進取d,報定d私校博抽華仁或St. Jo, 保守d,抽軒小或St. James.
再穏陣d既,抽寶血.
