Have interview everday from 7 - 10 Oct? Which schools have you applied? I only have St. Stephen on 9 Oct morning....and waiting for DBS, hope it would be on 8 Oct.

7/10 - HKUGA (1st int, 2nd round)
8/10 - DBS (very likely; letter not rec'd yet)
9/10 - Kau Yan
10/10 - St Stephen's (very likely; letter not rec'd yet)

"Very likely" - because these schools arrange interviews based on date of submission of application form.  For DBS and St Stephen's, we submitted the form very early on the 1st day and on the 2nd last day, respectively.

have you checked with st. stephen's yet? because i submitted the form by post on the 1st day and abt 1 week after that, i got their reply re: date & time of interview. fyi, i chose cantonese.

as for spcc, i still haven't received their response yet. we r unrelated & non-christian.

我仔KTS早上in， DBS 一定要下午呀，但我DBS 9:10交表，撞既機會好大。我都唔明，我KTS好遲至交都第一日早上in.....

Yes, I have checked with St Stephen's by phone.  They told me the "first come, first interviewed" basis.

Also my friend submitted the form on 20 Sept and has already received written notification for the interview time of 10/10 afternoon.  She and I have both chosen Cantonese as the medium of interview.

When will your child be interviewed?  On 9/10 or 10/10?  am or pm?

It's going to be on 9 Oct, around 9am (I don't have the letter with me now, can't remember the exact time).

Can some parents share this year's interview format and what questions had been asked during interview?  Some had done with interview last Saturday.  Many thanks!

Yes, it's mentioned on the 1st line of the letter.  But I think everybody is getting the same standard letter, though it may turn out that the kids would be interviewed by someone else (e.g. Vice He ...

The kids will be interviewed either by Headmistress or by one of the two Vice Principals.

Last year during interview, did you ask your daughter to greet the Principal by full name?  Or just greet by saying "Good Morning" or "Good Afternoon"?

Hi all,
My daughter just finished 1st interview this afternoon.  Here is the re-cap:

1) Finally, the staff accepted the additional info. before my daughter took the interview.......
2) The scheduled interview time was 12:50pm, and we arrived at 12:30pm.  We went up stair to 4th floor to take interview.  Handed in the interview letter on a tray outside the interviewing room.
3) The staff called up my daughter's name at 12:55pm for 1st batch of interviewers (3kids per group).  My daughter called at 2nd batch, and go into the meeting room around 12:57pm.
4) 3rd batch call up around 1:00pm. (so, total 9 kids in the room to take the interview at same time).
5) Those 9kids' parents were waiting for another staff to call up for checking the original documents.
6) 1st kid finished around 1:25pm (2nd batch kid).
7) 2nd kid finished around 1:30pm (1st batch kid)
8) 3rd kid finished around 1:35pm (3rd batch kid)........
9) My daughter finished the interview around 2:00pm. (~an hour).  But, still has one kid didn't finish at 1st batch.....

The most topices should be the interview details....
1) 6 kids per group, do the matching game (2 teachers observed)
2) Toys (but my daughter said all baby toys....she didn't play them)
2) Reading books by herself
3) One teacher call the kid name, and sat on row of chair to wait to see VP or P or teacher
4) Questions...
a. What is your name?
b. How old are you?
c. Where do you live?
d. Any brother & sister?
e. How old are they?
f. Do you have your lunch?  (my daughter only took breakfast........she replied "no")
g. What did you have your breakfast?
h. Give a picture.....turn over it, and asked what is the picture contained.

因為 KaHei 有參加舊年嘅小一入學簡介會，另外 interview 之前一晚，我哋俾咗李校長張相俾 KaHei 睇，之後同 KaHei 講，如果聽日見李校長的話，就一定要記得叫 "李校長，早晨" !! 不過如果唔係見李校長的話，都要記得叫 "副校長，早晨" !!

不過"禮貌" (同人打招呼) 呢家嘢，KaHei 由2歲多返學開始，佢已經開始知道要點做，重漸漸成為習慣 !!
