Kei Wan (Aldrich Bay) is a top and very popular school in Eastern HK, the allocation result is quite good and it's free of charge. Raimondi has a band 1 through-train secondary school but you need to pay for 6 years. The secondary school is a subsidized school so if you want to waive the trouble of lucky draw for secondary school and you can afford the school, of course Raimondi is a very good choice, especially for boys. You also need to consider which secondary school net you want to be. 11 net has many famous secondary schools for boys, eg. St Paul's, St Joseph's, Kings, etc. Your kid is a boy or girl?

高主教而家係男女校,中學上去都會係!仔女分別不大!

I said Raimondi is better for boys because it is only the 2nd year they accept girls, and among 4 classes, there are only 10 more girls. I'm just not sure whether the school has fully adjusted their teaching method and assessment system to cater girl's needs.

I was also struggled to choose between Kei Wan (Sai Wan Ho) and Sacred Heart Canossian before and now decided to choose SHC because of the consideration of secondary school.

Many thanks for the advise. And I do like both schools. And I am afraid of the second round lucky draw again! Although how smart is your child.. you really can't control his performance in every minut ...

Acutally, this year 2010-2011 is the 3rd year to accept girl.
