Would you mind telling us how you train your girl? Just curious, did your girl tell you what did she / her group do in the interview? Does she think she perfromed well in the interview?  My son told me they did very little thing. Listening to a story and answered Qs by pointing to some pictures. Read Chinese and English sentences. That's all!

That's what my son did in the interview:




There are no writing test in the 2nd phase interview.

1/. 2 minutes Cd listening, then answer some questions by pointing out.

2/. read a paragraph then answer some questions, coloring needed.

3/. Oral test, 3 sentences each in English and cantonese.

4/. 識數題: eg, which one is different among the pictures, etc...

others will be declined or on waiting list to get offer once places are released from phase 1 admitted students!

Parents who have son/daughter on waiting list,
Have you sent letter to the Principal to increase the chance of getting an offer?  Staff in office said they won't receive letter as they want to be fair to every applicants...and they said Principal is very busy, no time to read as they have received a lot of letters before...

Do u still plan to send?

From my observation, it's not important on what they did in the interview, but "how" they did. Frankly the questions or exercises during the interview were not tough at all (compared to the interviews of many academic oriented primary schools). But the teacher seemed to observe the responses of the students and more importantly, their understanding of English (comprehansion, listening and reading skills).

I'd asked the teacher and knew that my son was listed pretty far. So, I'm afraid the chance to admit is almost "0"........so sad!

I called the school and explained my worry and I told them at least tell me my son has been listed in the front, middle or back?! So I know how to arrange the preparation work for the school my son was allocated.

i really don't know much. if you want to know your chance to be admitted, u may call them like I did. they seems quite understand what the parents are worrying about.

i tried to call the school yesterday to check about my son's position in the waiting list, the man replied that they would not tell parents about such information.

when I told him that some parents have already got the information, he ensured me that none of the staff would release the information!!!

Naoch: was it a male/female staff gave you the information or you asked a teaching staff direct?


anyway, he said they will start calling waiting list this afternoon.
