Time Schedule for PM class

May I have those PM class parents to give me your kids daily time schedule for reference as mine will be admitted to K1 in Sept.

When is their normal wake up time and lunch?  Is there any tea time at school?  Coz little bit long time period w/o food (from 12pm leave home and back around 530pm).

Moreover, it seems also quite difficult to find interests class to fit for suitable timing in weekdays though I have not yet searched it.  

Grateful if some parents can give me your advice.

Ｈello Tofyma.  

My girl used to wake up around 10am, have a solid rice meal (her brunch) which would take her an hour to finish.  Get dress and leave home at 12:10.

12:50 arrive at school
1:15 afternoon assembly
3:45 (roughly) break time for a light snack
4:50 queue up for the school bus
5:30 return home
5:30-7:15 Shower and have dinner
7:30-8:00 homework
free time
9:00 practice a little piano and have a light meal, sometimes just fruit and milk.

10:00 getting ready for bed
11:00 fast asleep by then after lots of bed time reading and stories.

This is my daughter's current daily schedule for NC (K1):

10:00am Waking up and immediately have small amount of milk, followed by some TV or play at the park if wake up early
10:50am Get dressed
11:00am Have her brunch and cleanup
11:35am Leave home for school (we live far from the kindergarten)
12:15pm Wait at Central for school bus

(School time omitted)

5:05pm Reach Central station by school bus
5:45pm Reach home and a bit of TV time if no interest classes
7:00pm Dinner
7:45pm Play time and homework
9:00pm Shower and some readings from kindergarten
10:00pm Have a bit of milk, brush her teeth and get ready for bed
10:30pm Bedtime

Lately have more interest classes so that occupied 3 days a week now.  They all take place at 6pm so it doesn't affect her schedule much.

Hope this is useful.  In case you wonder, she begins NC sleeping 12 hours straight per night so nap time is no longer needed since school starts.

Thanks all for your valuable advices.

So, your kids would not feel hungry as have lunch at 11am but 7pm or 7:30 have dinner?

Hi Ian, wonder if it's common for interest classes at 6pm?  Then if you daughter goes straight to learning center after school?

The children are very hungry after school!  So normally need to offer some snacks to them as they leave the school bus.

Yes, my daughter goes straight to the interest classes after school but all these centers are either nearby or on our way to home.  I think 6pm interest classes are available but need to look for them.  It is even harder to have classes in the morning before class and also don't like having classes on the weekend.  It will take some efforts to find and arrange but totally worth it.

Hi Tofyma,

Schedule of my girls in NC :

7:30am wake up，milk + breakfast till 8:30 - 9:00am
between 9:30 - 11:00am around 1 hr nap time, sometimes they talked half an hour on the beds
11:00am lunch
12:05  go on schoolbus
5:30 return from school, drink + shower + homework + relaxation
6:30pm dinner
7:30pm parents' dinner and they will sit with us and eat some and chat, check homework
8:30pm begin to push them to brush teeth and then bedtime reading
If I am lucky on the day, I can manage to put them to sleep before 9:30pm

Sounds no need to get her to interest classes on weekdays still in NC.

It all depends on the parents.  I know some NC kids already have 3-4 interest classes in the mornings.  Maybe the parents prefer the classes on weekdays leaving the weekends for fun.
