First of all, the performance of the kid need to up to the basic standard, e.g. answer most (if not all) the questions and follow the instructions of the teacher without the parent's intervention, be polite, have favourable personality (e.g. cheerful and willing to communicate). Then is the attitude of the parents as the teacher will ask the parent questions like : why you choose this school, what expection you have on your kid, where do you take your kid to during holidays, how you arrange your time with your kid (as I am a working mom), etc....

I think whether you have the same religion or a reference letter is not their prime consideration (we don't have these), but maybe helpful if you are a marginal case.

thanks for your details advise, my daugther cannot preform very well when some stranger to talk to her. this is the problem what I'm worry now. do you have any interview coarse advice can help. THANKS

Based on my experience this year, St Paul Kindergarten required the kid to attend the interview only, parents were not allowed to be with the kid but waited outside the classroom. If you would like your daughter to participate in SPK's interview, you have to train her up, at least, she is able to face with stranger and complete the required actions/anwers. Good luck!

AM class - 9:00 - 12:00
PM class - 1:00 - 4:00
