上午班vs下午班: 好處,壞處

請問各位家長對上午同下午班有咩睇法? 係咪上午班真係好D??

倒轉.. 如果小朋友早睡早起嘅, 就當然am好d啦!

係啦，點解大部份家長鐘意a.m. class?其實p.m.class都不是太差吧?!不過時間分配上，p.m. class又係無咁"見駛"o既.

of course AM class is better,

a) learn to 早睡早起, good for their brain development.
b) can go for extracirrcumlum after afternoon nap
c) much more choices for extracirrcumlum in the afternoon

Oh...that's why I see many people want to have the sample letter to request the transfer from p.m. class to a.m. class....Usually do you think the school will really accept the request?

i think writing the letter from pm to am is useful. i'm the example. My kid finally can changed to am class. And his habit is wake up earlier

我都識得唔少媽媽真係寫信成功轉到am. 我個人就冇得所謂, 不過我都prefer pm, 因為我三點半放工, 如果可以準時走既話, 可以接到囡囡放學呢~ 由於我朝早六點幾出門口番工, 所以即使囡囡番am, 我都唔可以送佢番學, 咁就唯有俾佢番pm我接佢放學喇.

my boy is going 22 months now, no matter what time he sleeps, he will wake up at 6am, so I think am class is more suitable for him.  However, Victoria only offered him pm class, I have written a letter to request for am class but not sure.  I still have to adjust his nap time before he starts school in Aug.

我囝囝20MTHS，不論是9:30pm或者是01:00am瞓覺，第二朝都是一樣，大約9:00am就起身，遲d囝囝都係返pm，我打算每朝7:30am叫佢起身，到10:30am再"暗"佢瞓返1.5hrs，12:00noon 食lunch，and then返學，個schedule就好似人哋返full day咁。

我仔仔返pm時, 9點起身都捱唔到4:15放學, 上堂釣魚, 如果9:30-10:00起身就ok, 10點後起身更好.  佢返pm時我好大壓力, 因為怕早上有聲整醒佢, 佢好醒訓, 但你知香港幾嘈, 9:00開始樓下就裝修/鑽地 (我住5樓).  

至於7:30am起身, 10:30再訓過, 這一招我唔work, 因為起身無耐佢仲好精神, "暗"到食飯都唔肯訓.  所以, 最後我寧願佢每晚遲睡遲起身, 等佢每日訓夠自然醒.

I agree with you, my son is 25 months old now, he will soon go to pm class in Aug this year!
I just start the new schedule for him on sat. As he needs to go to playgroup every Sat at 2-4, I will let him sleep until 佢自然醒 every sat(around 10:00am), and it works. He can be still very 精神 at 5:00pm

My elder daughter went to pm class when she was in N1 :
1. She woke up at around 7:30
2. Slept again at 9:00
3. Then woke up again at 11:00 to have lunch.
4. Came back from school at around 4:30 and then sleep.
5. Woke up at 7:00pm but usually still very tired and didn't have any mood to do anything
6. Slept again at 10:30
