小囡現在就讀九龍塘某私校, 今次測驗: 中, 英和英文常識都全班第一. 囝囝今年K2, 我應否幫囡囡插男女政府學校呢? 如插班, 邊間好?

心目中有: 1 新油天
               2 循小
               3 軒尼詩道官立小學

還有更好嗎?

還是留在私校好呢? 如插班, 老公擔心影響囡囡將來升中, 因這私校的升中是好好的.

我估你囡囡應該同我囡囡小一時讀同一間私小, 佢小二時插班入Marymount, 我選擇轉校最主要原因係我仲有一個細囡三年後要入小學及Marymount有中學, ~70%可以升上中學!

但你提果3間都冇中學back up喎! 到你囡囡上中學好似有d冒險! 而且你囡囡E+呢間私小真係好好, 程度又高, 以你囡囡成績, 將來一定考入心儀中學! 當初如果我冇細囡, 我一定唔會考慮轉校! (我細囡豬年出世, 出身率高, 而且佢又係細B, 淨係考幼稚園都煩...心儀果d全部waiting! 所以唯有靠家姐幫幫手帶佢入小學! )

There aren't any really top co-educational government schools.
Out of the 3 you mentioned, Hennesey Road is probably the best for both boys & girls.
Boys have chances of going to King's or Queen's while girls have chances for going to BPS or Ying Wah.
But the secondary school placings are hardly guaranteed.
If you can afford both kids at private schools, why not try to get your daughter to 插班 to St Paul Co-ed.
I know it is not a sure win situation for your son, but his chance of getting in would be greatly enhanced.
But at least this way, you wouldn't have jeopadised your daughter's chance of a good secondary school.

如果真是要轉都是轉名校,有中學直升啦!如沒有都不要想吧!

今次exam, 佢中, 英, 數都90分以上, 中, 英仲 99, 98 分.

心想插班是為囝囝, 囝囝係細b, 怕私小唔收. 但見囡囡成績好, 怕down grade 左佢.

那應否去油天呢?

其實樓主的私校是不是比你所提的3間男女校好?
中學派位要睇小學校網,
所以樓主都要想想仔女中學的安排如何~~

若我是樓主,
我就唔會為仔仔而特意安排囡囡讀間較差的學校,
囡囡咁叻, 應該好好再栽培囡囡,
我反而會諗下幫佢轉間好好有直屬中學的學校

而仔仔就放多些心機教佢,
等佢都有能力考直資/私校,
又或仔仔會派到心儀的學校

assume你女讀緊間私校水準不俗, 以咁既成績, 升咩中學都應該得心應手
咁問題就係你心儀係咩中學姐, eg軒官, 雖然無一條龍中學, 但因為有聯繫位, 過往紀錄, 考全級頭20都可以話入硬bps.......問題係, bps係咪你首選先?
中西區英華女中學都係無任何直屬聯繫學校呀, 我知有d聖心/ssg女仔都考入去, 所以一間有直屬中學, 校網又好既學校, 會係頭號選擇, 進可攻退可守
如果為左"轉男女校"而轉, 我就覺得係side左你個女lor! 我反而識人, 本身女女讀男女校(ok唔係一線, 為左細佬), 後來發現side左個女, 幫個女轉左去間一線女校, 佢女不知讀得幾開心

呢幾間都唔係好到可以好決斷轉校, 除非小拔(男女校, 可幫細仔升小), or考慮女拔, st. mary, maryknoll, heep yan.....因有中學backup

我的想法:

1. 囝囝可直入
2. 可節省學費 (但我仍可支付, 可能一年兩次旅行變一次)
3. 但我唔清楚油天是否比讀緊的私小好, 津校同私校比, 好似唔公平.
4. 若我可keep住個囡在油天全級頭十名, 那可派top 1 brand 中學嗎?

If I were U, i would try 插班入 St. Paul co-ed, 拔萃小學. (boy and girl school: meet your need) If can;t get in or no seats at the moment, then try marymount, st stephen's girl, sacred heart. U have a smart daughter , u should put more time and effort on her.
And for your son. Although he is a "small kid", who knows he would not be as smart as his sister?

I would not sacrifice my elder daughter for the sake of the younger brother.  Prefer to match the kids with their schools according to their abilities and characters.  

If I were you, I would try Maryknoll.  Save some money and the younger brother, though will not have a guaranteed place of government school, could enjoy a wider choice of private schools in terms of school fees.

Of course, if money is not a concern, St Paul's Co-ed (x2) would be ideal.

CO-ED 可以申請減免學費. 佢地在呢方面好十卜. 始終, 佢地都唔想 D 叻學生因經濟問題走左去..

Maybe I don't think my girl is smart enough to try St.Paul Co-ed. So when my friends also ask me to try, it is already over the deadline of Maryknoll and St.Paul Co-ed enrollment. So now, I need to wait for next year to try.

So most likely I will stay the existing school.

BYW, what would you think about:
1. Maryknoll
2. Marymount
Is it both 2 are the top one and no difference between them?

co-ed 除成績外多一重考慮.........錢, 當然好多人會話你可申請資助,但該校是有限額的(人數),不然個個都資助,誰出糧比老師. 另好多好多洗費鬼資助.
兩間瑪利x輪成績一定係諾好,名氣亦是,但曼英文好好又加上佢地開心學習,一般好難揀.但女咁勁,可能都係諾適合d,又近d.
女都教得咁好,仔唔駛擔心啦.你有經驗架啦.
