Sorry, I don't know who is chichipapa. I just know him tonight in the TV program. I love this family, not high and low profile to their kids. I agree most of the points of the parents, but only one point that I am not so agree. : chichipapa use his experience in finding his job as an example to say that sometime may not need to have high academic result, you still can find a job if you have.........
Although this is the case all over the world, I will not take this kind of thing as an fundamental. This is only a benefit. I still think that academic result is yours, and forever. No one can take it. But the point chichipapa may not be forever, besides, it is control by others not  by ourself. Only my opinion.

其實當時的訪問是很長的，有些意見是很難簡短地表達出來。節目因時間關係，也只能播出一部份，因此可能令你誤解了，以為是說靠人事關係，取得工作。

當年八大會計師樓請人不會單看成績，面試表現才是最重要。我相信今天的四大會計師樓也是一樣，他們不會單看成績而決定取錄應徵者。

當時參與學生會的工作使我有豐盛的校園生活，也得到課本以外的知識和技能，也因這些知識和技能使我取得理想的工作。雖然用了不少的時間，也影響了課本學習的進度，但是我還是認為這是值得的。想帶出的是：是否只有課本的學習才是最重要？在知識高速發展的新世代，孩子將來的競爭力是否能從課本中獲得？

「334」新學制已嘗試把「通識」和「其他學習經驗」等課本以外的學習放進課程內。希望這會是教育改革成功的起步點。

我昨晚也有收看. 其實很贊成一點,那便是讓孩子明白他們的責任是甚麼. 有良好的責任感是一生受用的.  多謝 ChiChiPaPa, HY412等家長一直樂意跟大家分享他們的心得.多謝!!!

after watching this, i think APS is a good school, becuase the girl still thinks she is capable/useful. this does not happen in many other schools where band 3 children feel like losers. of course family plays another support role.

Thanks! 剛剛看完了, ChiChiPaPa及他的太太正正道出我自己的心聲, 一方面不想比太多壓力給小朋友, 希望他們能從錯誤中學習, 但另一方面又擔心小朋友的成績會被拋離, 心情真是很複雜, 怎樣平衡各方面所需, 真是一大學問.

Hello, ChiChiPaPa. Good to have your reply. I apologize to my mis-understanding of your point in the TV program. Actually, I really hate "靠人事關係". Unfortunately the game is playing like that. (some people may say that it is fortunately)
Same as when we want to go to those famous primary or secondary school.
