I went into the shop and glanced at the place today. It's not bad, neat & tidy, not like some other centres which look messy. I'm deciding now since they said they have a New Student Offer for Term 3.

actually you can go to the shop and pick up a flyer...i did the other day and it has all the information...it's inside the shop called Avost (the shop with 3 vending machine outside)

It's already difficult to get in MCS, but it seens more difficult to squash into some learning centre. However, as MCS is a very famous and very good school, the teachers should have done very well, how come the students still need to go to such learning centre. I understand some kinds of assistance may be needed, but is it necessary to have such tailor made private tutors. I wonder a good secondary student with good academic result and responsibility is good enough for primary students, except the student of SEN.

Every person has her own personal needs. If your child is enough with a secondary school student, congradulations. However some students need more professional help to get them back on track. Also you have to bear in mind that MCS is a subsidized school not like DGS which is a private school. There's no entrance exam in order to get in. It's difficult to get in because it is either by points or location or lottery so student standards can vary a lot. Plus 1 teacher facing 35 students, it's pretty difficult to get much personal attention even if you have problems in learning.
