emphasize on English or 品格

Both Think (MOS) and 合一堂單家傳紀念幼稚園 accept my baby.  Both schools are good, but seems to be a totally different ones.  Think (MOS) teaches English from N1 and I guess they are more emphasize on academic.   And no English related activity in 合一堂 N1, and 合一堂 is more emphasize on 品格 education.

If I plan to apply K1 in SC / KV / 樂基 next year, which school will be the appropriate choose?  If I choose 合一堂單家傳紀念幼稚園, will my baby able to catch up in K1 when other babies start learning English in N1.

I am thinking too much, but please discuss.

For me, definately morality > learning English.  Kids' English standard can be trained by yourself or tutors. English is just used for communication.  However, moral education can't be done on one day and kids usually imitate others, included their classmates and parents. A school with good moral education is more important than English training.

yes. u are thinking too much!
both are reponsibilities of PARENTS. Not the school.
The school is only an environment for children learning how to socialize.
No matter which school u go, bringing up your children are always your duties.

Bingo !

If your kid is talkative & not shy to strangers, you can put him/her into second language environment earlier. If not, I think putting him/her into ordinary school would be more suitable, to build up their confident to talk to others. Ordinary kinders have English class starting from K1 too.

I checked Think (Lam Tin), they emphasis Cantonese in N1, start more English in K1 and Putonghua in K3... I think this is systematic... and good for children to master each language step by step. Not sure if MOS campus works the same.

I think nowadays, most kids know a-z and 1-10 before 3 even they are not studying n1.

其實到你出年小朋友去 in k1 時, 只讀左 n 班2-3個月, 你唔會覺得番果2-3個月學有幾幫到你考以上的學校.  不如, 都係靠自己教佢多d 吧.  

但如果 think (mos) 同 合一堂比, 我會選 think 囉.  課程上比合一堂教多一點, 仲有一樣你要考慮, 萬一心儀呢3間都唔收, 你最後被迫要在而家呢間kinder 一路讀上 k3, 你願唔願.  起碼 think 既英文水準一定比合一堂好. 比個心理準備你, 樂基收k1 生好少好少的, 佢自己有n 班直升, 流失率少.  無論你來自何方, 唔好抱太大希望.

係呀~ 我嗰隻KV/SC都收am班, 但樂基就waiting咋~

我自己覺得, 如果你有宗教背景, 一心想小朋友响宗教環境長大嘅, 都仲有得諗.. 否則, 就揀一間可以讀4年嘅學校好d!

一間唔強調品格嘅學校, 都一樣會教品格嘅.. 另外有樣嘢叫家教, 呢樣都好好緊要!

你呀仔好鬼叻, 間間都中.  我地無出去拚了, 也是打算留守4年.

好似呀仔而家讀緊呢間, 都唔係sell 培養品格, 但真係一樣會教.  你講得對, 有咩比家教來得更重要呢.
